I believe it's the first/only 3-in-1 charging device that supports both 15w MagSafe and fast charging for Apple Watch S7 and beyond.

Not the original Belkin 3-in-1 that I have. There might be a newer one, now that I think about it.

The original 3-in-1 was updated with Watch fast charging and the newer flat 3-in-1 also fast-charges the 7/8/Ultra.

I actually like it and like Anker products in general, I just don't $150 like it. Doesn't do enough for me at that price. If it also say included an integrated 3 port charger then maybe.

I have the pretty Belkin 3in1 Boost Charge Pro and I don’t mind this practical design. Probably the most compact all around solution for travel, to charge the three devices at once.

It's actually not touching the table in that photo, just very close, and it's at its maximum upright angle. With nothing else on the charger like AirPods or an Apple Watch, the balance is pretty close with a Pro Max and an Apple leather case on there, so you can tip it forward fairly easily, but it obviously won't go very far because the phone hits the table. Tipping it back any further than maximum improves the stability since it moves the center of gravity closer to the middle of the base.

The hinge tension is sufficient that it will stay at whatever angle you put it at, even with a Pro Max on there.
Ah nice. Appreciate the additional details @WildCowboy.

How do you distinguish the updated version.

Regardless, the Anker is one of a small handful of products that meets those charging criteria. Hence the interest.

I returned other products to Anker because the magnets were weak.

Wait until spring or summer 2023 when there is plenty of stock and there are routinely 10-25% off coupons for this on Amazon.

Question: Does the AirPods charging component include MagSafe/magnet?
This is consistently not explicitly stated either on the website details, nor in reviews.
Request: Please in future reviews that involve AirPods charging - it would be nice if the presence or absence of MagSafe is explicitly stated.
In my experience, AirPods Qi chargers can be finicky about the position of the AirPods, and charging can fail to happen quite easily.
Thanks!

The top of the cube, used for charging the phone in the review, is MagSafe and can also charge AirPods. The watch charger is also magnetic and can charge the latest AirPods. The “middle” part can charge AirPods but is not magnetic.

So you can actually charge your AirPods in any of the 3 places, two of which have magnets (one of those being official “MagSafe”).

These just all seem unnecessarily expensive, especially if Apple decides they are going to upgrade the charging speed on MagSafe, which looks quite likely given the forced push to adopt USB C. I’ve been doing some browsing and there really aren’t any aesthetically pleasing bedside chargers. The last one I really liked the look of (besides AirPower) but is outdated, expensive and not a 3in1 was the Tom Dixon Native Union collab.

When the individual components cost as much as the device, I'm unclear why readers are shocked by the price:

Magsafe phone charger $39.95
Apple Watch charger $29.95
Apple 35W power adapter $59.00
Qi charger for AirPods $5 (?)
USB-C charging cable $5
Exactly the reason that convinced me to get Belkin 3in1 Boost Charge Pro. While I am advocating USB-C for iPhone for years (it's more universal, can offer faster speeds), wireless charging is pratical and always looks clean (who likes to look at and deal with cables?).

DAMN that's ugly. Even though it can do all that and is MagSafe certified that's a terrible looking product. Definitely in the bargain bin for $35-$40 in the future. The whole allure of Anker is that it was a budget brand delivering a solid product. This doesn't have the R&D and expense of higher ned products like the Belkin or even Apple's own product line....$149 yuck.

I had one of the Belkin 3 in1 chargers and it worked well but I ended up returning it because it didn’t fit how I do things. I charge my phone in my home office and I take my watch off and put it on the charging puck that came with it next to my bed at night. I never even charge both devices on the same floor of my house.

For anyone that has this, can that phone part go at a 90 degree angle?? or just 60?

I like it, it's a neat design!
That said, I don't want to generate any more E-Waste, and I already have a Nano 3
