Exactly the reason that convinced me to get Belkin 3in1 Boost Charge Pro. While I am advocating USB-C for iPhone for years (it's more universal, can offer faster speeds), wireless charging is pratical and always looks clean (who likes to look at and deal with cables?).
Belkin should’ve used USB-C to power the 3in1 instead of the terrible angled barrel connector.

That’s truth. The only part that feels cheap. I don’t ever unplug it or manipulate with the stand, so I hope it won’t broke. It’s nicely hidden underneath the base, at least

Holy moly!! $189.95 CAD for this charger!? Who is going to pay for that?

I just ordered online from Apple. I have the older generation without iWatch charger (shape like soda can). The estimated arrival is Dec 14-29. I can alway return it if I don't like it.

Currently I have the Nomad Mount Stand with MagSafe charger. But it can only change my iPhone 13 mini as the stand sits vertically in an angle. If I stick my AirPods 3, it would fall off even with a thin case. And no iWatch charger.
What’s an iwatch? Sightseeing ?

The top of the cube, used for charging the phone in the review, is MagSafe and can also charge AirPods. The watch charger is also magnetic and can charge the latest AirPods. The “middle” part can charge AirPods but is not magnetic.

So you can actually charge your AirPods in any of the 3 places, two of which have magnets (one of those being official “MagSafe”).
I am of course aware of this. That is not my issue. For me, I'm not going spend the $$ on a 3in1 if the AirPods charger doesn't include MagSafe magnet. It's just too easy for the AirPods case not to get charged properly when not perfectly aligned (and I'm addressing "3in1" here - where one is charging all 3 devices at once, so AirPods needs its own spot). I've been disappointed that since the release of the Mag charging case for AirPods, there's been little or no response re: providing a magnet specific to the AirPods charging.

These just all seem unnecessarily expensive, especially if Apple decides they are going to upgrade the charging speed on MagSafe, which looks quite likely given the forced push to adopt USB C. I’ve been doing some browsing and there really aren’t any aesthetically pleasing bedside chargers. The last one I really liked the look of (besides AirPower) but is outdated, expensive and not a 3in1 was the Tom Dixon Native Union collab.

Exactly, I was looking for a low profile bedside charging station and $150 seems to be the going rate. The Nomad Base One Max doesn't even include a power adapter for that price! And the Belkin displays their logo up front... I can have a couple cables dangle for that price :)

If you can find a local seller where you are, this one does the same thing (though with no charger) for about US$32: https://www.amazon.com.au/Magnetic-Wireless-Charging-Multiple-Mag-Safe/dp/B0B3M6H282

I don't think you can charge AirPods on the Watch charger. The Watch charger has a different physical (concave) form and is neither Qi nor MagSafe but another proprietary Apple thing.

Ah, fair enough. So you essentially want a 3-in-1 with 2 MagSafe pads then, as Qi + magnets is essentially what MagSafe is (not exactly, but not far off).

I’ve not yet seen a charger with 2 MagSafe pads, but there’s clearly a market for it so maybe some manufacturer will step up eventually…

Here's a much cheaper non-MagSafe (but still magnetic) equivalent that costs AU$50 (~US$32) which also charges a MagSafe-compatible iPhone, AirPods and an Apple Watch, on Amazon Australia. BYO charger: https://amzn.to/3G6BbOJ

I bought one of these and really like it; the light turns off and stays off with a quick button push if you don't want it visible.
A much more reasonable price. I'm over 3rd party crap trying to overcharge so much. I don't mind paying an Apple tax, but not an Anker tax :D

It looks good for travel but for that price, I will just take a Lightning cable with me. All of these chargers are so expensive, even the Belkin ones.
especially the belkin ones. this one is on par with theirs.

Anker, just because they have apple approval of 3rd party accessories, can make overpriced crap.
