Apparently you didn't watch the video, which goes on at length about how useless the action button is, and specifically asks people to comment about what, if anything, they do with it.
I was going off the summary provided below. But yes I didn’t watch the video.

So let's summarize the Apple inventions of recent years
- Dynamic island, failed
- Action button, failed
- Please keep up with the Android competition in terms of battery life
- Titanium frame, fingerprints and scratches

Is this the ouput of a trillion dollar company?
I like the Dynamic Island and the action button. Not failures to me.

There are always a few people that like a certain feature. But the secret sauce of Apple was always simplicity and Apple achieved those simplicity by feature reduction.
So features only 20% of the users used are considered useless and won‘t be implemented.

Today dozens of features are implemented every year and destroy the simplicity of the iPhone. dynamic islamd/action button are just lipstick on a pig. And the next physical button is already announced.

Why do people still use screen protectors? Honest question. Don't they degrade the screen experience? Have they been a lifesaver for dropped phones? I haven't used a screen protector in 10 years and don't feel the need for one.
It really depends on the kind of screen protector you choose.
Anti-glare? Heck yeah, the screen gets blurred out a bit.
Blue light filter? Looks just like without it on.

I have been very careful even with a screen protector on over the years, but one time, that one time I was driving a rental pickup truck...my phone slipped out of the pocket and the screen landed flat on the ground. The tempered glass protector was shattered.
Will that happen to the screen? I have no interest in finding out. Replacing the screen protector is far easier than bringing it to the Apple Store to get the screen fixed even with Apple Care +.

I switched from my iP11 pro. Lots of fingerprints, battery life is quite bad. The action button is mostly useless, but easy to press by accident. Enough for your „oh my“? But basically my experience matches the MR long term review of the iP14 pro and the new iP15pro review. So this is not only my opinion.

Sadly I had to switch, since my old iP11pro did not support 5G. I‘ll get a fingerprint safe case 😂😂😂😂

Forgot to say…. Oh my, those Apple stormtroopers again 🤦🏼‍♂️
Apple Stormtrooper? Man I just have an iPhone, I’m not a crazy Apple stand who needs ever product with an Apple logo on it.
I just don’t understand the crazy hype and disappointment because such an device. By reading reviews you exactly know what you get and that the action button isn’t that kind of a big deal was clear from day 1.

Dynamic island somehow made me not hate notch so much.
Action button is up to you how you set it up. Mine has several function thanks Shortcuts. It’s actually a clever move by Apple.
Battery life is great, but I don't live on my phone all day.
Titanium. Yep, I can agree on that one. Also slippery.

How these add complexity when you can completely ignore both? If something adds complexity it’s new share contact option. Unnecessary clutter.

Two months is NOT long-term.

2 years is barely long term.

Go make a long-term review about the iPhone 11. Long-term reviews look at durability, repairability, product resilience, and support from the manufacturer. Anything else is short-term marketing hype and feature obsession.

This always frustrated me about Android phone reviews especially. Sure the Pixel is fine when you take it out of the box. How do people feel about them a year or two later?

Ok, I'm curious...

How much do you use your phone during the day and what kind of charging do you do?

From what I understand about iPhone batteries, to keep the battery from discharging during use, it would need to be plugged in to use mains power. If you're using it unplugged, you're going through cycles and that should deplete your battery health?

But then, I see this... I had my battery replaced about 18 months ago and I'm back at 80%. I've been at 80%. Battery health is excellent though. My aunt's iPhone 8 is at 83% but needs servicing. She's had that for maybe 4 years.
I use my phone on and off all day and I only use the small charger from Apple to charge my phone. I wirelessly charged my phone one time and the battery got super hot. That was the first and last time I used wirelessly charging. I say people are killing their battery in their phones by charging wirelessly. I'd imagine this isn't a problem with some people because they don't keep their phones long enough to suffer the effects of having weak battery health. Not me because I hope to use my 13 PM at least for another three years. It still works perfectly like it did from day one.

ALWAYS use a decent SP.. the screen will shatter.

nobody cares about long term reviews of an old phone. The tech world is all about the present not the past and 2 months is a good time to judge a brand new flagship

I'm the complete opposite I haven't used the wired charge on any of my phones and over four or five years... I had an iPhone 12 Pro for 3 years the battery was in excellent condition and I charged overnight wirelessly and never had any heating issues... But everyone has their own preference..
