Has anyone upgraded who is using Parallels?
Is there a boot chime?
I have a question, in case you installed fresh, or maybe even otherwise. Did your Mac (and/ or) iPhone lose Safari iCloud Keychain data?
I installed fresh copies and think some keychain data didn’t come. Then, some restarts later, Safari iCloud keychain is empty.
Can you please check and see whether tabs in safari could be hidden? This was added in ios/ipados 13 but not in catalina. It drove me nuts. I hate that extra horizontal bars showing below the address bar taking up valuable real estate. If they allow that, I might make safari my daily go-to except 4k youtube videos.
It seems to be a present option but it's grayed out... I don't use Safari so it might just be my settings. I had two tabs open. View attachment 926529
Yep. Reminds me of the early days of iPadOS 13. They had inconsistencies like that.Interesting that About This Mac shows 11.0 and Startup Disk shows 10.16.

Looks like you're running scaled 3008x1692? How smooth is it?
I can’t speak for the other poster, but everything is much smoother. The UHD 630 was always a little underpowered on my ’18 when running the default scaled 1680x1050, but whatever they’ve done to the graphics subsystem has really paid off, to the point where I had to check to make sure I wasn’t on my Radeon 560X...
He had two tabs open. "Hide Tab bar" menu option is grayed out when you have tabs open. close tabs so that you only have one page loaded, and the option won't be grayed out anymore. Once the tab bar is hidden, if you open a tab, the tab bar will return, and the menu option will be grayed out again. Standard behavior.Thank you very much. Looks like they still do not allow it. Oh well.

The updated iWork apps aren't available yet... probably around release time in the fall.Would you mind sharing screenshots of what the updated iWork apps look like?
Is it smoother or performs better than Catalina?.. I have an MBP 16 and I feel Catalina lags some times
Nice to know thanks. I already have it download it but I'm a bit scare of installing it. If I do would be an upgrade from Catalina to Big Sur.On both the 16" MacBook Pro and the Mac Pro, performance is equal or better in my opinion.
do you have issue with system extension permission? Cant get it to work, always blocking them after each reboot.
