Running macOS Big Sur on my main computer...

I noticed that some of the menu bar icons in the top right corner disappeared after a reboot. Couldn't figure out how to turn them back on. Anyone else? Control center was straight up gone. I reinstalled on the vm from media instead of an upgrade this time. Let's see if it happens again.

Hi All, I want to try and install Big Sur on my Mac Mini (Late 2012), I have been able to get the InstallAssistant.pkg from the Unsupported Macs forum but when I click on install in my applications folder I get greyed out HD's and the message "The operation couldn't be completed. (BIErrorDomain error 3)" I want to install on an external M2 120GB SSD in a caddy, Catalina is already on it.

Is anyone unable to find their applications or open them? They show in launcher but not in the finder window. I also cannot open anything beyond core Mac apps.

Yes definitely quicker.
