I would love if someone could share their experience with Ventura and GPUs. I don't have MPX GPUs modules in my Mac Pro anymore, I have a 6900XT and a 6800 (non-Apple). Any feedback would be appreciated. I am a little paranoid after the 12.3. Thank you in advance.

Same here. After what happened before in Monterey patches, I want to be ensured before I upgrade to Ventura. Ventura's new feature definitely looks more promising than Monterey with Stage Managers and all that stuff.

^^^^I am running a NcMP 7,1 with a Gigabyte RX6800XT. No issues in Monterey or Ventura and now on Ventura Beta 13.1. Metal scores are back up to speed. Metal Score is:

So the general consensus is no issues and perhaps even better performance using 6800 or 6900XT non-Mac. Thanks. I shall update my 7,1 then!

Can't go wrong with either card (non-Mac).

However, I'm curious if Apple will support RDNA 3 which is going to be announced early November. The 7000 series.

Either way you can get a 6xxx series at a lower price after that announcement, or see if Apple will implement RDNA 3 drivers into Ventura.

I would love to see drivers for 7900XTX, but it is a big if, also if we keep in mind how many months it took MacOS to include drivers for AMD 5000 and 6000, drivers for 7000 would be out in June 2023.
