I had this problem where I charged my watch to 100% at 10 am and it died at 4:30 pm. I reset the watch for factory and it fixed the problem entirely. The watch lasts a full day ( 24 hours )

My Series 10 was fully charged at 8:15 AM and it was down to 12% at 9:32 PM. I was expecting 18 hours. I’m not doing any workouts and stuff that would drain the battery.

Here’s my battery life graph from yesterday. Pretty bad, I think. I rebooted the watch. I'm hoping that fixes the issue.

I seem to have solved my problem by doing this:

1) Let my watch drain to 0% and die
2) Placed it on the charger and let it charge to 100%

After that, I wore the watch and avoided charging at all. Regular use, including a couple of outdoor walk workouts. Always on display. Sleep focus mode at night.

The thing lasted over 40 hours before dying again! I didn’t know that was possible for a non-Ultra model.

The only thing wrong now is that in my battery settings it says my last charge to 100% was Thursday morning, which isn’t true. I’ve restarted both my phone and watch, but it still says my last charge to 100% was Thursday morning. Apparently others have had this problem, too. No idea how to solve that, but hopefully it’s not a problem.

On my new 42mm S10 I'm losing essentially 5% an hour. Is this normal? I think I have most battery draining things disabled. This seems too quickly to me. I'm a little jaded as I had an Ultra for 2 years and never once noticed or thought about the battery life.

That is very bad and exactly like what mine was.

After a forced reboot, it solved my battery issue and a full charge now easily lasts a full 24 hour period.

No issue here despite giving the watch heavy use. (workouts, listening to music, etc.) Battery life and charging speed have been incredible.

S10 Titanium Slate here. Battery Drain was atrocious up until I found this thread. Did a reset/erase all content and started over on my watch which seemed to solve my issue. I will need to watch it over a few days to make sure.

I did let mine die......not on purpose.....and it seems better. I will wait a few more days.

I was in Apple store today for another reason. They asked me how I liked my S10. I told them about the battery life......NO response.....just a blank stare.

.

Update #2: After recharging to full again this morning (as a test, not because I needed it), the battery settings now correctly reports the last charge to 100% as this morning. 👍

Battery life is excellent again. Life is good.

My S10 46mm has amazing battery life.

I use sleep focus at night but this thing is a beast compared to my old S4 Nike AW.

I was just getting on to post about this. This is the second day in a row mine was at 10% by around 3 p.m. I was stunned to say the least. I’ve never not made a full day on an AW, even with my S8’s battery life in the 80s.

I didn’t have this issue with it at first, so I have got to figure out what happened the last few days - I didn’t change anything.

Did you do a reboot?

There must be bug in watchOS 11 with battery drain. I had S8 on watchOS11 beta and had battery issues. Then i bought S10 with watchOS11 final (of course) and severe drain happens every few days. See attached image. I hope enough people report this to apple to make a pressure as this is just terrible :/

My fiancé has a S10 Titanium and started having the battery drain issue as well. I erased the content and started the re-pairing process which seemed to resolve her issue as well.

Many days for me now have been fine with about 30-40% left at end of day, and then suddenly there are days like today when bam it's drained at 9 PM.

Edit: now there's an update available that states it's supposed to fix battery drain issues. Installing and hoping for the best.

My new S10 Ti uses about 30% of the battery each day. That is in line with my previous Apple Watch. This includes a one hour outdoor workout with GPS.

So 100% in the morning and you go to bed with 70% even with one hour outdoor workout? Sounds insanely good - Not even my Ultra is close to that.

My mom bought an Apple Watch S10 42mm and some days even without a workout it doesn't even last a day - terrible battery and really hope it's a bug - if not it really is defect somehow

I never have used AOD. Nothing else has been disarmed.

Others need to post their daily usage so all can see. I do not see my performance that special as it is close to my previous Apple Watches.
