Had thought about adding the brown but now that the other colors have been announced have to say my favorite colors on the Classic would now be Blue Jay and Storm Gray. Maybe the Marine Blue but leaning more towards the lighter blue. That Storm Gray looks really classy. Probably my first choice. I have the orig classic black and love the feel of it so can definitely see at least another one in my wardrobe. Wish money was no object because I saw quite a few new bands/colors that I like. Hope the stores have them on display already, like to see them in person.

I might consider buying this and save more money in my pocket since I have bought over 8 bands.. Just waiting for it to arrive.

Just placed an order for one. Hopefully the quality would be better this time round. I wish the stitches were in a different colour though ..

I purchased the previous gen weeks ago and the edge of the strap were starting to peeling off, so the local Apple Store took it back.

Instinction seems to be beautiful bands - and yes they give us a choice of adapters. I'm really disappointed that Apple updated their CB line of leather bands, and still didn't give any Space Black love. Why not? They do it on the Milanese loop now and of course the link, but why not on any leathers?

At least from pics, ONLY the saddle brown has the smooth nappa-like leather. The rest has the Japanese-style textures on the leather.

That buckle is HUGE! Buckle is made for Panerai watches.

It may look huge but I have received similar type of bands which are blue and black. I think it looks great on my 42mm watch.

Today went to the store and got myself the Saddle Brown Classic Buckle. I've had the White Sport Band from day one (as it was the most affordable choice for me at that time). And while I did like the color, I was kinda getting bored of it. It also looks quite cheap now. So I wanted to get something new. Something that is more 'traditional'. I was first looking at those new woven nylon bands and wanted to get the black one. But after looking a little further and the fact that shipping dates have already shifted to a few weeks here I decided to get something 'better'. And I ended up with... Yes indeed, the Saddle Brown Classic Buckle.

Now, since I've got an Apple Watch Sport there's of course the issue with the stainless steel of that band in combination with that aluminum of the case. And that did bother me a little before I went to the store. Lucky they've let me try it on so I was able to see it in person. Turns out it doesn't really matter that much. Yes, it is noticable, but not in a way it really bothers you. So I had no doubts anymore and HAD to buy it. It looked so great, so 'professional'. Don't know how to describe it well. But anyway, it had something that made me having to buy it. It's pricey, even for Apple's business. But it's worth it.

Really like this band so far. Again, it looks so great. The white sport band made the Apple Watch look like a sport watch (I'm aware of that it is one, but still), but I'm not into sports at all. It did not fit with my personality. The Classic Buckle makes me look more adult and more distinguished.

Maybe not the best picture, but it does show how great it looks in my opinion. :)

That's the old version!! No stitching. Return it. Wait for the new version.

Well you know, here's the thing: that stitching does look good, but in my honest opinion not having it doesn't make mine look worse. I'll stick with this one. xD
Bought the saddle brown myself today. I am mildly disappointed I didn't get the one with the stitching as I do feel it adds something to the band, but it's not a big deal. The leather is so much more high quality than the original black classic buckle from launch.

The weird part is that the Saddle Brown leather is different than the other colors!! Saddle Brown leather is smooth (Napa like) leather. The others are textured leather, similar to original classic buckle. I prefer the smooth leather.

Can anyone post photos of their saddle brown straps after months/years of use? Thanks!

Saddle brown or Marine Blue.... ?

Interesting where he gets his Apple gear from; he ight live near Cork ???
I got saddle brown.

Maybe he has contacts for staff sales perhaps. Open box product being moved on cheap to staff if they want it?

I don’t think they hold inventory there these days, but I know in our company, obsolete and old stock is written down dramatically and sold off to any buyers who fancy taking a chance on moving it on themselves.

I’m in Ireland too, I had really fast delivery!
