Safari scrolling performance vs Intel

I don't know if the issue also affects M1 Mac, but scrolling on twitter with safari on the latest Big Sur is absolutely awful. It stutters like crazy. I've experienced it on 2 intel Mac with different user accounts, with all extensions disabled.
It wasn't that bad before, I suspect that the latest Big Sur update did something that disabled GPU acceleration on twitter.

It's more likely a Safari issue. No issue with Chrome with uBlock Origin adblocker.

Issue is still here using safari 15.2 on mac air m1 16/512 with macos monterey 12.1
