Their happiness knows no bounds because if Samsung finally facing a bump in the road

Samsung mobile has had a relatively bumpy last few years. The s7 looked to get them in the right direction then the issues with the note 7 arise. It's funny those who have an emotional attachment to these companies.

There are people saying "oh, this came from China. Fake".

I don't think anyone has implied anything pertaining to the race if the user but rather the location of the world where this occurred. Like it or not, China doesn't have a glowing reputation in regards to ethical standards and I wouldn't trust an online retailer from China as far as I could throw them.

Wait what? No one hasn't implied? China is not populated with middle aged gentlemen from London, it's populated with Chinese. It is exactly being implied here although much of it is deserved no one should assume it as the default position.

You can order for pickup at Best Buy. They will sell it to you that way. I just got my AT&T Note 7 in my hands..now just trying to figure out how to transfer my stuff including my texts to it.

Plug new phone into old phone and follow the on screen instructions. Its that simple.

And now iPhone 7 catches fire inside box

http://phoneradar.com/note-7-explosions-iphone-7-catches-fire-box-device-completely-burnt/

"
2016 could just be the year of smartphone explosions. It all started off with first few Xaiomismartphones and then we saw the whole issue with Note 7 phablet and now continuing the trend we have yet another smartphone. And interestingly it is iPhone 7. Yes, the smartphone which is all over the news for many reasons will now be in the spotlight again and for quite some time.

Recently images of a fully burnt iPhone 7 have now surfaced online and it appears that the smartphone caught on fire due to some kind of explosion. It surfaced on Reddit where the owner of the device posted the image. Apparently, according to his claims, the device exploded and caught fire right inside the box itself. We are not sure about that yet but the device looks to be in a terrible condition as the explosion completely ripped the device apart.

As you can see from the images the screen is separated from the body due to the explosion impact. And as mentioned earlier, we are not sure if this is real as there are no other proof to support the claim. So we just have to wait and see what happens once the company starts digging into this. We just hope that this is not real and starts some other major issues just like the one with the Note 7 smartphone. However, it is too early to speculate about this as we don’t have much info on this.

As mentioned, we just have to wait for any official statement from the company on this. Meanwhile, if you own an iPhone 7 or an iPhone 7 Plus, then it is advised that you stay cautious about this issue and avoid using your device under high temperature. Stay tuned for more info on this as we will update soon once we have an official statement from the company."

Looks like another s7 exploded.

http://www.newsnet5.com/news/samsung-phone-sparks-house-fire-in-painesville

A cell phone sparked the flames of a house fire in Painesville, according to emergency crews.
There have been several reported issues with Note 7, Samsung issuing a massive recall after batteries started going up in flames, but it was a different Samsung phone, S-7 Edge, that started the fire.
"It was charging at the time, we believe that's the probable cause," Painesville Fire Chief Mark Mlachak said.

Danielle Boutilier said she was using the charger that came with the phone when it set on fire.

"This phone was overheating from the beginning! I've only had it for two months," Danielle Boutilier said.

Before the fire, and after what she calls constant overheating issues, Danielle told News 5 she mailed her S-7 Edge to Samsung.

"I sent them the screenshots. I told them what happened. They sent me my phone back," she said.

The phone is with her insurance company now, while she waits to hear from Samsung.

"If somebody has one of those phones, I would definitely be talking to the provider and see if the phone is safe," Chief Mlachak said.

"People keep their phones by their pillows, right next to them while they sleep. Be careful. That could be you over a cell phone," Danielle Boutilier said.

A Samsung spokesperson got back to News 5 after this story aired. They shared this statement:

“Our first concern is the safety of Ms. Boutilier. We are reaching out to her to ensure that we are doing everything we can to support her. We will conduct a thorough examination of the device once we receive it so that we can investigate the unique circumstances surrounding this incident. We encourage all Samsung customers to contact us directly at 1-800-SAMSUNG.”

Where are all the posters who are so quick to post all the Note 7 articles? They seemed so concerned for consumer safety. Why didn't they catch this article. IPhone sells in way bigger numbers, this would be a much bigger safety issue to consumers. FFR? i7guy? You guys see this? Really interested in your take on this one. How did you even miss this article. Why didnt you post it to get the word out. It's all about consumer safety you say. Well grab the link and post it in the iPhone thread. Hurry, you could save a life.

Don't really think it's a fair comparison:

One unconfirmed report vs a worldwide recall, airline travel ban, and Samsung having to sell 4 subsidiaries, etc.

While, note 7s are still exploding In China, Galaxy s7 are exploding, so are galaxy tablets, galaxy note 2, galaxy core prime exploding, Samsung washing machine are exploding as well.

No need to be bitter seven, you claim to have a new note 7. Enjoy it. :)

But but.... Consumer safety and having a discussion are so important to you. You're known for not dismissing any claim and posting everything and anything for the discussion and consumer safety. Don't stop now, you were doing so well.

This is called deflection and is a textbook case of it. Let's not talk about the world-wide recall, airline ban. instead focus on some incidents Apple has had. Deflections. Well done. Sevanw.

Well, this is the long-term consequence Samsung is going to have to deal with for a while, the association of exploding phones. Make no mistake, all battery powered device have a risk of catching fire. Think way back to only a month ago and whenever a report of a phone catching fire was quickly dismissed and forgotten, you either thought "that sucks, hope it doesn't happen to me" or "must've been using a knockoff charger". But now it's just immediately front line news, especially if it's another Samsung.

Even though there will always be a small percentage of these devices that will catch fire, I feel confident in my replacement Note 7, not only is Samsung under scrutiny and is going to test these replacements vigorously, but so is the US gov.

Also, shame to the people taking glee in other people getting hurt or completely dismissing other people's safety just because you have some weird rivalry in your head based on the manufacturer of your smartphone.
