It's not going to happen any time soon. Even Google only support the pixel phones for 3 years. A lot of the time the latest android version contains features that have been available on Samsung phones for years.
Samsung Android is a mess.

It would seem that a Windows tablet could be a better buy after all.

I don't want any biometric stuff or cloud voice recognition.

No headphone jack no sale.

Who cares anyway if it's going to be smaller than 12". Or be abandonware.

Really? Hp jack means little to me absolutely not a breaker.

I don't want a phone. Note are also tablets. And Samsung tablets can make calls if they have cellular.
You'd be better off getting the Tab S4 or even the Tab S6 when it comes out. The note is quite small for a tablet.

I don't want a small tablet. Samsung has not made a proper one since 2014.
The Tab S4 is 10.5 inches. What's the difference between the tab S4 and the Tab S? What makes the Tab S which I believe was released in 2014 better than the current Tab S4? Or do you mean you want a small tablet like the Tab S2 8.0?

Tab and Note 12.2 . They came out before the iPad Pro.

What more do you want?
I would rather just get 3 years of security updates. Every time I update o/s my battery life and/or RAM management suffer.
That the device is kept safe for a reasonable amount of time.

That new technologies are enabled when the device could manage it.

Looks bit wider than i thought thanks God...

Can’t say I’m not disappointed to be honest. Still no split screen apps in iOS. However the new iPhone might look better than the leaks. Huwawei have done a decent job with the square cameras.
I have a feeling that may chance in the next 1-3 years.

Split screen apps in a few years on the iPhone?

That would be almost 10 years after they were first available on Samsung (2012).
Yeah. I feel like the Ive exit was less cordial than it's being made out to be. People complain about Cook being greedy, but Jobs was no saint himself. And Cook knew how to streamline Apple's products back then to drive down day to day operating expenses. With a net worth of nearly half a billion, I doubt Ive cares much at this point.

First time for Note line so will be interesting how it will look like but i already decided for black. Never had black since iphone4.
Black is a classic colour but anytime I’ve had black past the iPhone 4, it was because it was the only colour in stock when I got the phone. I prefer a brighter colour! However I don’t think you can go wrong with black. It’s clean.
