Makes sense to get the 5G version though if someone plans on keeping it more than a year.

Are the EE 5G plans more expensive than the 4G ones?
Not by much, it’s about £5 more a month and £10 on a few other plans. So not a deal breaker but as i get 20% perk on EE they won’t allow it with 5G plans for some reason...so if i wanted the note on 4G i could get one for about 67 a month while the 5G plan would be £89 a month for 100GB of data or £84 a month for 30GB of data...think 30GB of data would be better anyway as having 100GB on my max most i use each month is at most 20GB

On the annual upgrade i would have to pay £100 if i wanted to do an upgrade which won’t be free until 20th September which is when the new iPhone is out anyway. Least when the new iPhone is out i will get a discount on my tariff as no 5G yet with that one.

I pay £90 a month for my max which obviously i want to get it down to as low as possible. Only thing with the annual upgrade on EE you have to go in store to do the upgrade/swap agreement.

It looks awful to me as well. You are not alone lol
Probably should have sent spies into the Huawei factory on how to do multi colours.

I’m with Three who won’t charge more and they’re adamant their 5G network will be far superior to the rest. Still, it’ll be 12 months before any of the UK networks get some decent coverage.

I just dropped in the UK for a week and went to John Lewis today, thought they may of had a demo note but no luck

They still had some MB 12" on offer but I have set myself to get the new Samsung Books S for the Mrs opposed to a discontinued Bootcamp MB

On a side issue and part of my gadget clear out I also brought over a pair of B&O A1,s to give to my eldest but it seems his Iphone XS has trouble trying to do stereo BT to 2 speakers where the Samsung just fires them up no issue

I did manage to get a Google Hub and a ring doorbell to play with though :D trying to get Amazon to deliver gadgets to far east Asia is a pain

I just can’t understand why Samsung don’t give colours to everybody why are some countries got other colours and UK get just two...if apple did this then all hell would break loose.

And while it’s great they have brought out 5G it really has no use this year...hell here on EE we won’t be here getting til end of 2019 from what i gather and even then it will take time to get 5G at speeds that are noticeable from 4G so i think apple releasing it in 2020 will be about right in terms of it actually being useful. So i think it’s better to just get the note plus with a 4G plan for this year.
It was only last year that where I live got decent 4G speeds so god knows how long it will take for any form of 5G to roll out here. I’m working locally, so no commute into London anymore so no realistic chance of using 5G anytime soon.

No Prime same day shipping? I think Amazon should a dedicated driver just for my house as much as we order every week!
I wish LOL people think Amazon is worldwide but its such a poor service in many countries with many many items not available or the shipping is $100 for a $30 item etc

Overseas many turn to Lazada being less restrictive

Apple have not blessed us with that basic Bluetooth 5.0 feature yet. Although they did show off the ability to pair 2 pairs of AirPods to the same iPhone at WWDC like it was a some amazing magic trick.

Little pic of the Note line

Anybody know if the snapdragon version going to have dual sim. From what I read it looks like it but I’m not sure

I always thought it was the other way around and most Asian markets get the dual sim Exynos

My S10+ is and my Note 10+ will be :D:p

I still remember the Original galaxy note. It was my first Samsung flagship after I briefly used the Samsung Galaxy Y.
The Note 7 was my first Samsung. It was my first Android phone, period. Up until then I had only one line for ios only. Though I had a T Mobile ipad for awhile. We bought the Note 7 on a BOGO deal so my husband could also have one on a second line. Then the recall happened and all the many exchanges later we ended up with S7 Edges. I also got an unlocked S7 and an HTC 10 around that time. Yeah that's when the madness started. I came so close to ditching Apple with that HTC 10. I actually did switch over for a few months.

No regrets about going back to iPhones though. I'll be with iPhones for as long as I can use one. Unless they change how they do OLED, though, the 11R may have to be the last iPhone I can use until micro LED, assuming that tech won't also cause me problems.
Edited to fix double post caused by the worst wifi connection ever

For those wondering how the Auro Glow looks in person, think of the back of a CD. My local Best Buy has one on demo, and after giving the device a good wipe down, lol, I can say it looks like the back of a CD. That's why you see the light reflect with all those colors at an angle. It's not as visible in person, but It's definitely a polarizing color option. Buying a phone color you may regret has never been an issue for me. It's not like buying a shirt color you regret. With the phone, you have cases or even a skin to cover up the regret. That being said, I chose the aura glow, just for something different, but I also chose that classy looking aura white for good measure. ;)

That is a great analogy! Fits perfectly :)

Agreed, this pretty much sums it up.

I've also decided to go with the white, but am still on the fence between the Note 10+ and the Note 10. I don't *need* all of the extras that the 10+ provides, but maybe they will be useful. Who knows.

I'm curious how many are getting the 5G version over the 4G 10+? And is that the only difference between the 2? Haven't noticed anything else different between them.

Note 10+ and note 10+ 5g exynos (uk) both have dual sim / micro sd capabilities?

I barely even have 4G. It would be shocking if I kept this phone past a year so I went with the cheapest option available.

As for color, I have the Aura Glow on order which is fine because I want that blue S Pen but a blue phone wasn't available to me on AT&T. I ordered 3 blue cases. It will be fun to look at the novel coloring and then promptly cover it with a pretty blue case. I absolutely loved the purple of my S9+ but only saw it when I cleaned it. It lived in my purple case.

I have a clear case on my S10+ most of the time. So I do see the Flamingo pink all the time and I enjoy it. But I also tend to not see it, if that makes sense. I mean my eyes will be on it but my mind is on other things and the color barely registers.

The one color I can't unsee is the intense yellow on my Xr. It kind of lasers itself into my brain. I've got it in a Caudabe clear case I love. I don't love it because it's clear but because it feels like phone, not a case, and it is strong and protective. I intend to get the same case for my 11r, which will most definitely not be yellow unless they tame the yellow to a more pastel shade this time. Otherwise I'm planning on the lilac or green or white. I of course will need to see them first before choosing.

Not sure how true it is, but when I went to check out the Note 10 at bestbuy, the rep said that the notes come pre installed with a screen protector.

Yeah that's what I've been reading elsewhere in various unboxing articles.

I'm currently on my Pixel 3XL. Wow this phone has such a nice display that's easy on the eyes. I'm glad I didn't pick this as my trade in phone after all.

I was just at Best Buy. I got to see Blue, Rainbow and Black. Sadly no white Note 10’s. I really liked the Aura Glow.

They all had very reflective surfaces. But with the silvery aura glow, it was the color that was most mirror-like, which I think would be really useful for my family videos. So many times when I’m recording a family event I try to get myself into the video for at least a moment. I’m never sure how I look when I aim the camera at myself. Now I’ll be able to tell if I’ve got the camera aimed too far up my nose! :D

Beauty is subjective of course, and fortunately since it’s what I ordered, I find this color variant appealing. It’s a bit flamboyant, yes, but in a nice dignified case, the beautiful silver edges will help it blend nicely into a business environment.

It didn’t actually look quite like a CD. It was not quite as milky/murky as a CD. It was very definitely highly reflective silver.

I got to compare the sizes, too. The little Note 10 display was nice and crisp and from what I saw didn’t suffer at all in direct comparison with my S10+ display or the larger Note 10 display. It’s a fantastically comfortable size and now that I’ve seen it, I think it’s not at all a disappointing downgrade from the Note 10+.

The larger Note10+ is exactly what I want. Wow. I can’t wait to get it. Now I’m not even feeling even a hint of sadness that I will have to trade my S10+ in for it.

And happily my husband still feels confident in his choice to NOT get it. The Note 10 offers nothing that he is looking for except maybe the greater integration with Microsoft. Even that isn’t enough for him to jump from his S10+ anytime soon.

Yes, It's like a mirror that reflects light into colors like a CD.

Absolutely will be using DEX. It's a no brainier for anyone that is sitting in front of a computer. Being able to fully interact with my phone while using my PC/Laptop is extremely convenient. Just think how many times people pick up their phone while on their PC. From what I've been researching about DEX, Samsung has done some great work with getting DEX streamlined to just a single USB-C cable or wireless. Awesome!

Thanks for the correction, yes I read the early specs and it said SS :(

With typical middle age eyesight the bigger screen is unfortunately becoming a necessity LOL

Definitely not Stainless Steel. Almost seems misleading it could of ever made it to their site.

SMDH.

This guy said the aura colour looks hideous

I saw it in person, and I agree. Would go with Blue or White.
