Does One UI have quick reply from lock screen like iOS? Does it work the same way?
I thought we would see camera improvements for note 10 from the sounds there isn’t
Don't they usually have the same camera as the S line anyway? Still disappointing though. Adding a tof seems to be all they've added. But then the S10 5G has that anyway.I thought we would see camera improvements for note 10 from the sounds there isn’t

Rumours suggest new sensors in the S11 as well. I thought it made more sense to have new tech in the Note, which is supposed to be their do all, have all phone. Thought the Note might have the 855+.Yeah normally but rumours were camera improvements. But guess not...maybe better zoom in S11 for example
I think if you have the S10 plus no point paying more for a few extra features
The Note is nothing special above and beyond the S series this year.
I think they just wanted to get a regular sized Note into the mix and see what the sales were like. Pretty much a Galaxy S phone with the S-Pen.The normal Note badly downgraded but the plus is not too bad.

I feel like the Note 10+ is the real note this year so to speak.

Look how the 6.8 inch screen of N10 is inviting, open and squarish(less curved) than s10+.
On top of that it has slightly better process, better fast charging power, S pen and 12 Gb ram..etc...etc..
So what more can you ask?

That is a nice compact form factor. What did you think of the display? I'm going to be losing some Pixel density going from the S10+ to the Note 10+. I was wondering how the ppi hit to the smaller Note 10's display strikes people. I wish I could run over to BB to see for myself but I am vacationing with extended family and don't have my car with me, so I have to kind of follow the herd for the most part.Just got some hands on time with them, and yup, I made the right choice for me with the smaller Note. The screen is just about the SAME as my Note 9, but it feels soooo much more compact and comfortable in the hand, and that’s with the security cable attached. The curved sides seem a bit better than my Note 9, though I still prefer flat.
Still can’t get over how compact it feels with almost the same size screen as the Note 9. Here it is side by side with my Note 9 and iPhone XS.

Ok so I just came back from Best Buy reviewing the Note 10. And while impressive... IT'S STILL TEAM iPhone for me.
With that said, the device is very impressive. The screen is SUPER IMMERSIVE!!!
However, I soon realized I just don't have the time or resources to up end my lifestyle by getting this phone; after reviewing, nor would I want to. That's not a knock, but my preference.
iPhone fit and finish still remain the best. Aesthics are huge for me, and this phone still doesn't match my Xs Max. The Note 10 screen is more vibrant than my Xs Max and makes even the Xs Max feel small. The hole punch was a non-issue.
I can't get behind the square shape of the phone. Wasn't able to test the S-Pen thoroughly as it was locked down and the phone was in display mode.
Overall I think Samsung fans will be pleased. It's not for me though. Guess I'm looking forward to September for my next tech fix.
I didn't notice the drop in PPI in my limited time with it, just remember it was under the lights at best buy, on a security cable, and it wasn't for long (there were other people there and I didn't want to "hog" it). That is a nice compact form factor. At a beach and no pics??!I just discovered I never peeled off all the plastic from my S10+.
Well that's good. I'm at the beach and I've gotten sand all over all of my phones the last few days. Fortunately I've incurred no scratches...at least not on my phones. I, however, got b***h slapped by a jellyfish when hit by a wave. But only on my left side. I need to get stung on my right side so I won't feel uneven.![]()
I'm really looking forward to the more rectangular shape and display on the Note 10+. I'm also happy the SPen on the Aura Glow model is deep blue. I bought blue cases before I knew about that, and now that I know I'm ridiculously pleased with my order.
I think I'm going to be happy with it. I did forget I'm giving up the 02 and Heart rate sensor. But I don't think I've used those recently. They were an interesting novelty but I found them more useful on wearables.
I'll miss VR but I'm moving over to using VR on my PC. I think the Note 10+ will keep me plenty busy with the new capabilities it offers in video recording and editing. This is something that will be fun to share with the kids.
I think this is going to be the perfect member of my "smartphone team." I'd dearly love all that the iPhone Pro is rumored to offer. But I'm probably shut out of all that. Even if it turns out I can use their OLED models. If they put all their best features in the biggest model, well I can't pocket that Max sized phone. My daily driver/main phone has to be something I can easily carry. 11r is still my best bet and first choice among the iPhones.
I know this 2019 summer/fall phone season isn't the "wow year" most people seem to be looking for. But for me personally it's shaping up nicely. I can acknowledge disappointment with what isn't coming to fruition but still get a kick out of what's on the table.
