Lol talk about splitting hairs, eh? It’s a little dot. A dot vs an entire notch! Honestly I’ve ceased noticing any of them.

Thanks. I’ll lose the freebies but trade in value sounds good.

Yeah, I lost out on my Samsung store credit of $150 unfortunately.

Does the note 10

My hair has a lot of split ends lol :p I don't think I would mind a hole punch actually. :) it's actually kind of weird to see how each video on YouTube I watch on my XL 3 is different, the aspect ratio, the amount of notch intruding into the frame, how some videos will zoom out. It was like this too on my OP6 that I never really got into.

I got to give it to Sammy though, the note 10 looks pretty symmetrical.

The biggest pain so far about this phone is the power button being on the left. Only played around for an hour or so, will fully set mine up tonight, but that will take some getting used to for sure.

Not with my at&t SIM card, the option disappears. I need the AT&T variant to get it.

Thats a shame

Yeah, I’d rather just get the carrier version and unlock it rather than going through flashing the carrier firmware onto the unlocked model, either way I lose out on some of the advantages of the unlocked model (less bloatware, internet backed caller id from Samsung, etc.)
Plus I also saw some ware that even with the at&t firmware WiFi calling still won’t work, that I would need to spoof an at&t IMEI as well as at&t only allows recognized IMEI’s to access WiFi calling.
Yeah even my husband who never had any qualms about jail breaking iPhones or making all kinds of crazy modifications to different things over the years won’t go with unlocked. He says it’s more potential trouble than it is worth at this point. I may head on over to Beat Buy if I get a chance. I have to head on over for a meeting at the school to straighten out some sort of paperwork thing. I may go after that unless other errands take precedence.

I got my Note 10 (smaller size) yesterday along with the Galaxy Buds and USB battery charger that came free with purchase. So far, so good. I love that the phone is all screen but is pretty much the same size as my Pixel 3a.

One thing I've noticed so far is that the dreaded "volume too high" notification over bluetooth is gone! In my car and now on my AirPods, it doesn't warn me when if I put the media volume into the "red"! Freaking finally, Samsung!

Woah seriously!!?!?!??

Samsung called me on Wednesday (didn’t pick up; no caller ID, went to voice mail) and said that my phone would be available for pickup in-store on Friday 8 am. Looking forward to it! My first Samsung since the S4!

The S4 was so awesome. I remember flashing the Google Edition rom on it. So great!

Are you happy with that size or wishing you went with the Plus? I'm on the fence.

Also, where did you preorder that the Galaxy Buds came with it?

Sad isn't it, that carriers want to limit the factory unlocked one. Nothing like being punished for not buying the phone from them. You'd think it was enough to give them 100.00 a month just for service.

Ugh. So I managed to not be apathetic for a bit and dragged myself out to the local "best buy" to see if they might have the 10 on display to at least look at, after all, at one time they had a Sammy store in there. And nothing until tomorrow. while the clerk was checking in if they had a display model, I glanced around and seen the note 9 in black unlocked for 800 bucks. Evidently the clerk was too busy doing nothing to engage with me further so finally I just walked away then back out after making a few more stops to the note 9. Also checked into the S10+ and the note had a bit more corner to it, seemed a bit easier to hold on to (aside from the initial drop of the first device, I thought it was secured).

Typical best buy around here, but I suspect most people are there for a paycheck and or commission. Or I would have been told to order online or something.

Anyway not much to do about the 10, I did want to see it, maybe one not in demo mode. Bummer :(

Size is great hardly any bigger than S10+

FPS seems improved

Blue LED case has Blue LED's

Now doing synch and transfer

Screen is yummy LOL
Do you mean screen size or overall size of the phone? Curious to know how much bigger the screen itself looks/feels compared to an S10+.

I love size and don't wish I purchased the larger size. I've always loved the Note lineup but end up selling them a month or two after release because the size becomes too cumbersome. So I've been wishing for a smaller note for a while... finally got it! sure, I wish it had some of the things the larger one did but the screen is gorgeous and the phone flies. Size is perfect IMO...

I pre-ordered via Samsung.com where they were giving people a $150 credit towards goodies on the samsung store. One bundle they had was the galaxy buds and a 10,000 mAh Portable Battery pack for $150. So I got those 2 items for free.

Does the note come with a screen protector?

yes, my smaller note 10 came with the same plastic one that was installed on the S10 lineup. I quickly removed it ;)

Argh......so I got the phone in today, and it's awesome, love the feel and size and its blazing fast. Unfortunately at&t wifi calling does not work and I've already had 3 missed calls today while at home, so the unlocked version is a no-go. So I have to return it and get an at&t model. I'm really starting to hate at&t, unfortunately I'm on an old grandfathered unlimited plan and it would be more expensive to go elsewhere.

FWIW, unless you’ve relocated, I think we’re both in the same part of the Tampa Bay Area and have similar coverage concerns. I switched from AT&T to T-Mobile about two years ago and couldn’t be happier. Our family plan has 5 lines and my Apple Watch and it’s nearly $100 less than we were paying on AT&T, all for Unlimited everything. To top it off TMo also pays for my Netflix.

If I understand correctly, unlike AT&T’s requirement to approve it for any device in their network, TMobile’s voip and WiFi calling functionality is coded directly into Android since Android 5.0, so any phone with compatible radio hardware will automatically have that on TMo.
