I wanted the glow but it was out of stock but I couldn't be bothered to wait 2 weeks so went with the black. I am going to have a case on it as well so I guess the colour doesnt matter that much.

I have to use google pay sadly because NatWest isn't compatible with google pay.

Make sure you get insurance with your phone!
I assume you mean Samsung Pay is not compatible :)

There's an option to have music player controls on the lock screen with goodlock. I don't have it on mine because it was covering the FPS and I couldn't find a way to move it.

The Lockstar app in Goodlock, will let you move around any item, including your status bar, on the lockscreen. You can also remove items as well. Awesome tool.

Thanks. I've sorted it out now. Yes goodlock is a great app.

Did you stick with the bluetooth model or get the lte version?

Scratch that Just looked back at your watch box pic!
I just went to the bluetooth model. I had the cellular Apple watch and I never found a need for the LTE as I always have my phone with me and don't go out running.

What case/screen protector did you go with in the end?

Yeah I noticed that even when I had the Apple Watch LTE model, I still preferred to bring my phone with me. Lol

I'm considering the LTE model as I cant really carry my phone about in work
I might still upgrade to the active 2 so I didn't want to spend too much. I think the battery would drain too much if I had a watch on LTE all day at work.

I passed on the active one because you can't make and receive calls on there and I wasn't sure if it could do Samsung pay.

I really like the rotating bezel though and the 42 mm isn't too big at all. It's a nice looking watch too.

I think im finally getting used to holding this thing without a case. My only complaint is that it's so big but thin and I had a few accidental touches. But I'm finally getting the hang of it. I'll still use the case on runs and outdoors but prefer my phones naked.

i love the watch. it lasts me at least 3 days and it's never frozen or lagged out on me. the text dictation is also pretty good. text dictation is unusable if you have to correct what you said but bixby has done a really good job of understanding what i say. only grip is bixby is sometimes slow to respond to commands. It'll have to "think" and it isn't instant like google assistant.

What case and screen protector do you use

ESR Clear case and Samsung Premium Care for the screen protector.
oh so ho screen protector? just insurance?

I am thinking of doing the same because my friend said he bought the white dome glass protector and the fingerprint sensor didn't work even though he followed the instructions very carefully.

I never use screen protectors. Hate them with a passion.

I am holding out hope they will release an updated version of the Galaxy Watch with the new features of the Active 2 (heart and sleep features). I really like the looks and sturdiness of the Galaxy and Gear S3 watches (they’re basically indestructible) and the rotating bezel. I also wish they would offer a stainless steel version in the 42mm size along with rose gold. The Active Watch seems more delicate and scratch-prone like my Apple Watch.
