That iPhone event was incredibly disappointing in many ways, particularly with the “Pro” models starting with only 64GB base storage and no Apple Pencil support. I think I’ll start saving for a Note 10+ and buy it when the price drops significantly. As a student I just can’t afford iPhones and the company continues to disappointment me.
Yeah I think the only reason anyone would choose it over the Note 10+ at this point would be an iOS preference. The update basically gives the iPhone what the S10 had back in March. The one thing that I did notice though is that Apple gave a lot of attention to the cameras. That's a good step for them.

The UK prices for iPhone 11/11 Pro are now worse than 1:1!?

That's off putting pricing strategy by Apple yet again!

I'm glad I didn't wait for this years Apple announcement and got the Note10 at release instead.
But Apple Watch is 50 pounds cheaper lol

Camera do seem very much improved...who knows might be the best in the market but that remains to be seen. About time they got a night mode on the iPhone to match the comp

I got an update for mine too today.
I like updates even when I dont know what they've updated! Lol
[doublepost=1568149410][/doublepost]This is the very first year since the iphone 3GS that I've seen the keynote and will still note be purchasing the new iphone.

I admit to thinking I may wobble when I saw it but not even a flinch. That is an achievement for me honestly. I normally get ready to reserve as soon as possible but couldn't be happier with my note 10+

How is note 10 winning battery is really poor iPhone 11 pro has 5 hours more battery life

First off, Note battery life is pretty excellent by all accounts. Second, how do you know the iPhone has 5 hours more battery life? Because they said so? Did they say that was screen on time or standby time? You don't know because nobody knows yet.

Can you post screen shot of excellent battery of Galaxy Note 10 plus

lol...did you even listen or see the keynote today? 5 hours more than the Xs Max and that is all marketing hype.
I have a Xs Max and there's no way the 11 Pro Max will get 5 hours more battery life.
Your brand loyalty is clouding your judgement....
All the manufacturers estimates tend to be hype. Battery saver mode, limited screen brightness and other power saving measures. I will wait to see what kind of battery life people get in real life use over what Apple claims in a keynote

Agreed. It's difficult to say until the phone is in hand and being used. However the note 10 + at the moment is universally said to have a great battery life by all the reviewers.

Agreed the pricing is getting more and more ridiculous just to get a phone with decent specs. These are not pro specs, these are features that can be found on android phones that are hundreds of pounds cheaper. Of course you can pay £750 for the Xr and get stuffed with a 827p LCD display.

3 burner hob in a caravan lol

I don't think it looks too bad though, the hump on hump design is strange from Apple imo.

I paid £1099 for my note 10+ 5G with 256GB of storage. The 11 pro with 64GB of storage cost £50 more at £1150. Crazy.
Yeah. The Note 10 is an absolute steal and has appropriate storage for a flagship phone capable of 4k recording.

Used Note 10 are selling for £850 on ebay which is very tempting. It has the best hardware and design of any phone. My only reservations are software and lag compared with stock android or ios.

Given many consider keeping thier phones 2 or 3 years I can see some holding out for an IPhone 5G else if they opt for an 11 now it maybe too close
5G won't be relevant to most consumers for at least another 2-3 years. To aceheive decent 5V speeds you need directly line of sight to a node. The range is very short which means that nodes will need to be scattered pretty much everywhere. Building out this network will take time.

Well we still had the pixel 4 and mate 30 pro to come. However the mate 30 pro is going to be crippled without android and the google apps.
With only 64 GB on board, and the strange design decisions I think the note has already beaten the pixel 4, and 11 pro max.

Time will tell if their cameras somehow manage to become leagues better, but even then the note has them in almost every metric.

I agree but if your a 3 year cycle user (not many in this thread) the iPhone 11 screws up that plan

But no doubt part of Apple's plan
