Good job I'm a sad and lonely individual who has no friends or family and only communicate with this online community as a way to socially interact, in some way, with the outside world!

But I do it via a top of the food chain note 10+ though so who cares! :)
After his comment, I immediately put my kids up for adoption.

The note imo is the best overall phone but like all previous samsung phones, is behind on the camera. Imo apple still leads in video recording and the pixel still leads in still shots.

Samsung phones are not good if you have friends, family and pets (especially indoor shots). The portrait mode on the pixel is significantly better than on the note. I hate that I always have to download gcam on every Samsung phone I've owned but the difference in pics is too noticable.
Are you seriously suggesting you have to buy 2 phones to beat the Note 10 camera LOL

Whilst the Pixel appears to be the more reliable point and shoot its also the least flexible

For most we are splitting hairs on subjective preferences with no outright winner across all scenarios

Enjoy your snaps whatever phone you have IMO as I am sure your friends and relatives will not be critiquing them

Some indoor shots I took with my note 10. I was quite impressed.

I own a Exynos Note+ version. And I have one big issue with mine.
My cell signal is rather poor, and often I need to put my phone to airplane mode, and then turn off airplane mode, just to have better signal!

Now, my OnePlus 7 Pro didn't have this issue on same locations. I usually have great LTE signal, but my Note 10+ is a complete mess atm.

Besides that, a great phone! Is there any software fix for this issue? Does anyone experience same issue? I would really hate to send this device for repair.

I am on Snapdragon so I can't help. I do get really excellent modem performance. Please let us know if you become aware of a problem with the Exynos phones. I haven't heard of any myself, yet.

A day with the phone and I am liking it very much especially coming from the XS Max

Only thing is the battery is already at 70% and I have only been downloading apps from the play store, tweaking settings, setting up google pay/banking apps and thats pretty much it. Plus whilst I was doing all the that the back of the phone did get a bit warm/

Is this normal with Samsung phones? Only reason I ask ask I have a 14 day return period if its faulty.
If you have an at&t model, you should disable at&t diagnostics in the mobile network settings tab, it will increase your battery life.

Nope no issues with my Exynos version

I do notice the difference between carriers having a dual sim and last weekend in Thailand my Note had a signal where my friends Iphone did not

Occasionally after a protracted time in the lift ie lunchtimes when it stops at every floor and signal is lost it's slow to reconnect but yet again I think that's a carrier issue not the phone

I experienced that for the first couple of days. I think there is a lot of behind the scenes set up, backing up, syncing, etc.

Not sure if anyone noticed, but One Hand Operation+ got a very nice update the other day. You can now launch an application with a gesture. I'm now using my left side handle to launch the flashlight or calculator. Doing a swipe and hold, is so much easier to launch the flashlight. Especially from the lockscreen. No need to go into the phone. Love it.

That reminds me, I should download Good Lock one of these days.

Without a doubt, you should install it. These types of customization features are totally worth it. I would say, Sammy needs to build this into the next One UI update.

With the S10+ I barely used any of them but I'll give it another shot!

I'm confused, how is this anything new? You've been able to do this using Hangouts for years.
Hangouts for most people requires an additional credit/subscription to make calls when the other party does not have a Hangout account or internet connection or lives outside US/Canada and of course instant messaging etc is not part of your normal sms/mms functionality

This about integration with your phone and laptop and not alternative services using internet calling etc with apps like Hangouts, Skype, Whatsapp, Line etc

This was something relatively exclusive to Apple ECO that now will be available to most others regardless of phone and laptop combination

I bought mine from the UK - but it is a network model (Vodafone), not from Samsung direct

Thanks

I will monitor the situation,

Very nice. Just updated. The brightness and volume sliders are the standouts feature updates for me. Thanks for the head-up.

Ok you're right. This is awesome. I now was able to hide the Nav Bar and swipe up to go home and then on the left hand side of the screen, I have it mirroring Android Q/iOS back gestures and do a long swipe to go to recent apps.

I'm amazed and my user experience just got even better.
