Samsung Galaxy Note 9

I picked up the official Samsung rugged case and holy moly it's a great case. And I'm historically not a case person.
The note 9 selfie camera has improved imo over previous versions. I keep reading about blurry pics of people and pets on the note 9 but didn’t experience this myself in the two weeks I’ve owned the device. Can you point me to some pics where I can see?
I'm not a selfie camera user so I couldn't care less, and to be honest, I don't think Samsung uses a great one, but faces get substantially better when you turn off the beautification filters.
Yup, it's my favorite case and used it with my S9 and now my Note 9. I really wish apple would make a similar case for the iPhone.
I was honestly expecting the back to be like a slippery plastic, but it actually feels more like a grippy rubber. And for a rugged case, it's relatively thin.
I was going to throw up comparison selfies but man the iPhone decided it was too dark and kept blinding me with the flash. But from what I can tell, the Note 9 selfie is pretty good.
Curious, how do you find the Note 9 front camera to the Pixel 2? (sure you've had both?). In most situations, the Samsung's always lacked detail.
I have compared pixel 2 xl to my note 8 selfie and it’s incompareable. Pixel has the best selfie camera out there they come out looking like from a rear camera.
I don’t feel Samsung lacks detail on front, the image is just bright and washes out your skin. The rear camera does the same to skin tones also. Very annoying if you take a lot of pics of people. Landscapes sky’s objects pets I’ve took many great photos though.
Although not readily available here in the US the 20 MP front camera on the Huawei P20 Pro is also awesome. Both have the best cameras out there in my opinon. The only reason I returned mine is I did not want to spend $800 on a phone with no warranty. Otherwise a fantastic smart phone.
I'm using it too, seems nice, just a little thick around the fingerprint cutout, that would be my only criticism.
The kickstand will come in handy.
I hate it so much and I hate that I can’t turn it off entirely on the Note9.
Haha, yeah I certainly get that. I'd definitely prefer to remap to Google Assistant. Samsung says disabling the button is coming...we'll see.
I’ve read mixed things about that app. People have had their phones get janky.
I've used it on my Note 8, Note 9 and S9+ without problems. It's the Android Police version of the app.
Oh guys I have a question. I never used the animated Gif feature on any of my samsung phones. I just used it now on my husbands phone and it works well. My only question is can you get it to record sound or are they silent?
GIF creation is such an underrated software feature. It's stupid easy and I love that you can also just select several different images from your gallery and turn into one gif.
