Something must be wrong if you don't like it..

Don't get me wrong, as a technical achievement it's excellent. It certainly has the wow factor. It's just... Well, pointless. Why the hell would anyone carry around such a massive phone? And what do you gain from having a screen that big? 4.5 inches is enough, surely?

I guess if Apple made a car and came out with 1 new revised model each year, you would jump right on that train too..

----------

Explain...

Moto Razr was released back in November 2011, and 3 months later Motorola decide to being jerk and double dip people with Razr Maxx which has bigger battery, better form factor (flattened back which looks infinitely better).

How do you feel if you bought the Razr earlier? Huh? Oh no, now there is a better Razr with bigger battery and better form factor. Oh yes I should sell it again. Buy the new Maxx because I DONT LIKE BEING OUTDATED ON MY FRIGGIN 3 MONTHS "OLD" RAZR

Why didn't Moto do that earlier? Go with Maxx without just regular Razr?

Now have Apple ever done that sketchy double dip with their iPhones, or iPad? They always stick with averagely 1 year lifetime. Sure there were CDMA and white iPhones in the middle of iPhone 4 lifetime, but it's not necessarily better, just different color and baseband. Very very same performance and do not leave you feel outdated just like if you bought Razr.

Looks like a nice device.
I hate practically touching the 4s screen with my nose if I wanna web browse, play a game, or watch a youtube video.

The retina display is awesome though, no doubt, but too small for MOST folks.

Mine will be here tomorrow, and I'll post my reviews of it. I think my iPhone 4 is great, all except for the small screen. Yes it is usable, but the 5.3" screen is much more usable. I never used Android before, so I hope I am not too disappointed. The rest of my family has iPhone 4's, and are all waiting till this summer for the iPhone 5.

I won't sell my iPhone until after the 30 days has passed and I am sure I'm keeping the note.

It'll have to be awesome to displace my iPhone, but I'll give it a shot.

Android is a different beast.
First thing you will have to do is not expect it to be like iOS.
Contrary to all those who say it's an iOS rip-off, it's not.
Similar yes, but not the same.
You will either like or you won't.
I'll admit, I was not a fan of Android when I first started using it, it was very different.
After using it for over a year now, I can't see myself going back to iOS.
Every time I have to use my wife's iPhone 4, I cringe.
Screen is too damn small and it lacks the flexibility to be "tweaked" to my liking without jail breaking.

But I digress. Give it a legitimate shot and you might be surprised.

I like Android. TouchWiz? Not so much. In fact, TouchWiz is very much a rip-off of iOS.
Yep... TouchWiz "tries" to be iOS. It's not bad and does offer an interesting twist, but it doesn't feel right.
It was the first thing I removed on my SGS2.

Great, looking forward to your thoughts as I too am interested in getting the Note.

Meh, I replaced carrying around a laptop with a tablet. I could probably benefit from switching my tablet and phone for a galaxy note.

Anyway the point is yes its a massive phone but its lighter then a phone AND tablet/laptop.

That's a bit of an overexaggeration.... There are 7 billion people on the planet, and Apple has sold about 200 million iPhones. Not even close to "half the planet."

Forget the iPad and iPod Touch my good sir?

LOL why not try READING your link?

The Note and S2 will be getting ICS update in March. Lol you just made up the Note 2.

So you really think Samsung will release an updated Note without renaming it as Galaxy Note 2 Turbo Maxx 3D IMAX V2????

Trust me, whenever they update to ICS, they will rename it and sell it as the Galaxy Note 2 Turbo Maxx 3D IMAX V2 Limited Edition.
