Off charge at 7am. Currently 9pm and at 50% left. Not sure if that's classed as good but if I don't need to charge it before bed then its good enough for me.

Screen on time 2hrs 48min. Day two of ownership so early days, but so far battery has been ok for me.

UK model BTW.

Haha... we’ll see my friend.
Good to hear you’re enjoying the Note though! If the smaller one wasn’t treated like the ginger step child then I could have been tempted myself. But not at that price and with those pathetic specs in comparison.

At this stage I’m here to stay now i feel....it’s at the point where i don’t know how i dealt with a phone without an S pen for so long

So I ordered this on a whim. Fully expected to return it but I'm really enjoying using it. After using the S20 ultra with its flatter display, I expected to dislike the curve of the note but I've hardly noticed it to be honest.

Nothing of any substance to add, just that its exceeded my expectations. I got my 11 pro max out last night, expecting to miss it but surprisingly I haven't in the least

Now in fairness i was never that bothered about the notch but god damn when i picked up my pro max I suddenly noticed how outdated the device felt side by side with the note.

Weird. Sounds to me like apple will keep the same size notch until they can go under the display with the camera...hope not as that will be awful having same notch for another 2-3 years

Yeah with the tech other android manufacturers are able to achieve i just can't give Apple excuses anymore. Face id with no underneath LCD fingerprint sensor seems outdated in these COVID times. Also the huge notch is so distracting now. I love the tech in the Note 20 Ultra (despite the horrible battery- but that's another story)

The notch doesn't really bother me to be honest. Its just that I'm more impressed with the note as an overall package

Oh god you're not trying to go to Samsung again are you? With the new iPhone announcement right
round the corner too? We all know how this will end. ?
Which iPhone do you have now? The Note 20 Ultra is supposed to have a 25% brighter screen than the iPhone 11 Pro Max when outdoors.
I have the Note 20 ultra (and 11 Pro Max) and can see the Note is much easier to see outside in light. Not sure if its the taller more narrow screen or brightness?

Anyone here get the Note 20 Ultra as their device switched over from iOS for the first time?

I'm still on the fence but REALLY close to pulling the trigger. Just like to hear some other newbies sound off
This is my first real time switching from iPhone 11 to Note 20 Ultra its been great, feels so much more advanced and freeing to me... love it!

Are any of you guys in the UK? if so how’s battery life with the Exynos chip? Also can you tell it’s slower than the Snapdragon version?

I’m interested because a couple of reviews have stated the battery life and performance is not as good.

I am mate. I posted a few separate days battery stuff a page back or so. I've found it fine for my every day use, even in areas of mixed reception.

With regards to comparison, I'm not sure what the difference is in real world but I'm happy with performance in all aspects that I've come across.

I don't play games on my phone (or anywhere else!) And I believe that is were the overheating problems have been documented

Performance wise it’s perfectly fine and very fast. Battery life started bad but mine is now lasting me all day and i charge at bed so it lasts me all day.

On heavy usage i got around 6 hours screen time this weekend

Best review you can watch, this guy shot 400+ pics and rated N20 U perfect

That's a good review. I found it interesting though that one of his nitpicks was the squared edges of the Note rather than his preference for the softer rounded edges of the S20.

I am the opposite. I think the square edges of the Note give it a sharper and more modern look as opposed to the more traditional but dated round edges of the S20.

But that's a personal choice and opinions will differ.

How to enable hidden 96hz Refresh Rate.

I haven't seen any tests on battery life, but it could potentially increase battery life for those who don't really need the full 120hz.

Dunno what I'm doing wrong but buds live sound awful in the gym

So much that I won't use that again for the gym
I finally got around to setting mine up yesterday AM and thought they sounded terrible on a bike ride.

I took another look at them today and realized in my hurry yesterday that I put them in upside down. I thought that little rubber bit was supposed to go against the ear hole and then looking at them this AM I was like "wait, those are just the charging contacts."

Putting them in right side up, they sound a world better

Dave how could we do that you would need to have both versions in hand to tell doing some daft test and you do not need to be in UK to get Exynos set just not in US and Korea

Also remember the US SD version has less memory and no dual sim and can cost more and likely no headset

Your just stirring and what do you expect the Duo to be doing against these chip-sets, move on

LOL I did the same to my wife and she had them in upside down

I tried them myself and was very impressed, they were very good for their intended use as active wearables

My wired in ear Bose still beat most ANC even though several years old now but Samsung have found a good balance IMO with their ANC for outdoor use and the bass if more B&O like than Bose which I like

I was simply asking about people’s experiences with the U.K. model, I know that the Exynos isn’t just UK, the EU countries also have it. I was asking about the U.K. because I’m from the U.K.

If you don’t want to reply to what I was asking, simply don’t reply to me! But to accuse me of stirring is just wrong! You do realise people can have questions, opinions and thoughts about products they haven’t purchased. Do not tell me to move on, just simply don’t reply to me if you don’t like what I have to ask or say.
