Well that’s kind of the most important part of the phone. If that breaks you’re SOL. Also software is a very big part of the phone and I don’t like the software experience at all.
I've heard it all now. To say the sim tray is the most important part of a phone is beyond ridiculous. They cost £5 and are very easy to obtain.

For a freaking $1400 phone Sʌᴍsᴜɴɢ should stop cheaping out. I don’t think  fans can be called sheep anymore.

The fact still remains, you said the sim tray is the most important part of a phone. I doubt you'll find anyone agreeing with that.

So now you're suggesting people who buy Samsung phones are sheep?

Well people who buy iPhones are called sheep all the time and Sʌᴍsᴜɴɢ is starting to pull some things that Sʌᴍsᴜɴɢ fans used to give  crap for and even doing something’s that  hasn’t.

Ok so maybe it’s not the most important but kind of hard to use a phone without a sim tray

I'm a fan of phones and have no allegiance to any specific one. You have no business coming into the Android section and labelling Samsung buyers sheep. That's called trolling and thread spoiling.

Sure, a metal tray would be better. One tiny part being made of a cheaper material is no reason to label buyers sheep.

But I tend to treat things carefully, so a plastic one isn't likely to break on me. And even if it did, because things do happen, replacing it is cheap and simple.

And in case you can't find your way out of here, follow this link and you're good.

I’m an iPhone user, (altho I do show interest in other devices) but there is no need to troll a thread based on insignificant things, a sim tray really? Apple have also made mistakes and issues over the years (Airpods Pro crackling issue being a more recent one). No one or no company is perfect.

It’s ok to prefer Apple products, but if you can’t also appreciate other devices, maybe you shouldn’t visit the threads!

Yes I know  has made mistakes and I’m pretty annoyed with the potential lack of 120hz again on the upcoming 12 devices.

I’m happy you all are happy with your Sʌᴍsᴜɴɢ devices for me though after trying the S8+, Ceramic S10+ and the S20 Ultra I just can’t get over the software which is the main part of the phone I deal with everyday, for me hardware is important but second to the software experience. I was just shocked about the sim tray on the ultra cause it almost snapped on me when attempting to put it back in the phone when returning it to Best Buy.

I visit the other forums cause I’m interested in tech and I like to see others thoughts on the phone even though I’m not going to be buying it but who knows I’ve already contemplated checking out the Note but after looking at it in store I can already tell certain niggles haven’t been fixed. One major thing for me is I have a pretty decently sized personal text replacement dictionary setup and I don’t like Samsung’s or Android implementation of it.

Sorry for the long post. Enjoy your Notes.

Each to their own, sim wise you use it once a year to take it in and out

Software is always preference but for me if I'm spending 1k the hardware and software needs to both be great. Just hope apple catch up soon hardware wise

Same. This year might be the first year I don’t upgrade or I’ll just go for the 12 Max if that comes in red again this year.

I will be honest if rumours are true nobody should upgrade from 11 Pro to 12 Pro but thats up to the user

Come on people, just block and ignore. There’ll always be someone who comes here only because they enjoy mocking stuff they don’t like and getting you riled up. Replying to them is completely useless and only makes them want to stay and keep doing it.

Battery life fears seem to be fine now.

Off charge at 07.30am and at 15:00 it’s still on 82% with light use. This time on friday it was on about 50%.
First day of taking the phone to work and its been good. Been on wifi with minimal cellular reception as i work in a hospital. Off charger at 0430 and home now at 1930. 3hrs on screen time with 41% battery left.

What i have noticed is that this phone stays connected to the WiFi in work a lot better than the iPhone does for some reason.

Pretty good. Mine is on 2 hours screen time with same % so yours id better then mine but for me as long as it lasts me a full working day and enough to last till I go bed im good. I got 6 hours screen time yesterday so I know it can vary from working to being off

Even my iPhone during the working week I would sometimes have 3 hours screen usage tops as working 10 hours then going gym then home its only a few hours till bed and I don't sit on my phone I normally watch TV so for me yesh could be better but if it lasts all day then I'm good

Another movie from Flossy...

I got a 11 pro max but the note 20 is ultra is nice. I looked at the width and at 6.9 inches it's still not a wide as the 11 pro max. I prefer the 11 pro max width though, typing is pretty good.

I do miss multitasking on android alot but the note 20 isn't something I'll trade my 11 pro max for.

I would probably save a few bucks and get the note 10 plus and get a galaxy watch 3 and save the extra.

I need to check up on those android weather apps and see if they found a replacement for Dark Sky yet.

I love the app since it's up to the minute.
