Hey there, because Apple is gonna ban the Unreal Engine(which i use to develop), I’m now looking for alternatives, and sell my iP11Pro Max.
Is the S-Pen presure sensitive?
Hows Battery life?
Any negative sides(without flaming pls), which is good to know as a soon ex. iPhone user?
I would imagine you’re po’d at Apple but my advice would be to keep your iPhone so you can gracefully transition yourself to a Samsung. Otherwise the shock to your system might send you back prematurely. I’m sure you’re technically proficient and so switching won’t confuse you the way it does for a soccer mom like me, but there may be certain things on iOS that you rely on more than your realize and it may take you a bit of time to figure out suitable substitutes. There are always so many varied reasons people don’t take the switch well so I can’t assume anything on your behalf. I know in my own case it’s an immense help to be able to use both platforms. In the USA it’s hard to shake a dependence on iMessage, for example, in many social circles.
If it’s too expensive and you need to get rid of one phone to afford the other then maybe split the difference and go to an SE 2020 and a Samsung S20 through some sales or deals. Or a used cheaper iPhone.
I don’t remember if the S Pen is pressure sensitive. Your post got buried so I hope someone sees your question and can answer for you.
Samsungs have traditionally had good cooling for games. I don’t know if that’s still true because it’s not really discussed anymore. But my S20 runs cooler than my iPhones at average tasks.
As the mother of Fortnite players I extend my sympathies to you on your dilemma and I hope you get the answers you seek. You may want to do a separate post if you haven’t already so your questions don’t get buried under new user reports.
Good luck to you on making the switch!
