The Note also tends to look nicer and more square than the Galaxy S model of that same year. I remember kicking myself when I saw how much better the note 8 looked than my rounded s8+.

For me it would mainly be for the S pen. I won't be buying the S line and note line every year.

I got the S10 plus this year to get used to samsung again coming from the iPhone so this is the last year I will get two Samsung phones in the same year

I'm sure there will be some new S pen features on top of that

I think I am skipping Note 9 and s10 so let's see what Note 10 brings.

The S Pen can be handy, but people who seriously need to take notes down on the fly usually need something larger than a phone. Even a big 6.7” Note is too small to make a bunch of in depth notes.

I have 4 different note apps, I take lots lots of notes everyday but regrettably never been lucky with Samsung's note series.

Just out of curiosity, what note apps do you use and what devices do you use to take notes?

Oops sorry just read your post...here they are...

1) Diary Book (excellent app) yellow colour
2) Note everything (excellent too) blue colour
3) Samsung notes
4) Safe notes pro (can be locked with pin too)

I think #1 and #2 can be locked too.

I use s9+ and also s7edge

Why not use Microsoft OneNote?

I have found it to be the best no matter what platform I am on.

They managed it by software? That means there could be improvements coming to the S10+ via a software update.
But I think the P30 still has a better zoom.

This device looks amazing, and he seems very impressed. I'm drooling at the thought of what the Note 10 Pro will be like.

Looks like Verizon has started pre-orderss for the S10 5G today. Order today and it delivers by 5/16.

Who is gonna get one?
I am going to wait and see it in person.....

And the upgrade to the 512GB models appears to be $100 less if you preorder via Verizon instead of on Samsung.com. ($1399 vs. $1499).

An extra $150 for larger screen, larger battery, and additional camera function seems like fair value.

What Samsung don't need right now is more bad press after the Fold being delayed. Let's hope they didn't go too far with a 4500mAh battery. lol

Lol, this would be awful if that was the case. The Galaxy S10 5G is a huge device though, so there should be plenty room in it for the 4500Mah battery, unless it is placed too close to one of the sides, but I doubt Samsung would make a design mistake like that again.

This could just be a once-off, I remember a Galaxy Note9 also exploded not long ago just after its launch:

What are these people doing to their devices
