Is there a good place to buy Galaxy Buds right now? The Sammy site is sold out it appears, and Best Buy is oddly not offering them as of yet.

This is extremely embarasing for the iPhone.
What are the iPhone strengths now besides costing too much?

I can't believe how thin the Samsung leather case is. Makes the Apple leather cases look bulky by comparison.

Check the carrier stores. I know AT&T had them for like $100 last week

Where did you buy that case in person? I thought you'd have to order from Samsung.com

Thanks, I'll check at my local AT&T store over the next couple weeks. I got the case from Best Buy tonight. They had the black and navy leather ones in stock.

Awesome, I'll check it out. I always love the apple ones, so if it's pretty close, that would work for me

They're still 25% off at AT&T. May have to order them though but may be available in store

Well, so far I don't mind the S10 too much. I have thought about getting the + instead, but I'm not sure I want the larger phone again. The regular is plenty big, and the weight is nice. My iPhone XS Max feels extremely heavy after using the Samsung.

I haven't had too many issues with the FPS with the included screen protector on. Every once in a while it will fail, but for the most part it works.

My only real complaint is with the keyboard. The keys are a lot more narrow on the Samsung keyboard than the Google keyboard, and yes, I can change it, but I like the look of the stock keyboard, especially if I'm using night mode or whatever it is called.

Its unfortunate that some of the apps I use look better on iOS than android, but that was known already, and is the fault of the developers, not Android.

I've not had a chance to really put the battery through its paces, so I'll see how it goes tomorrow. If for some reason the S10 doesn't last all day, I'll quickly switch to the +.

Edit: Another thing I've found is that the AOD isn't actually always on. It turns off after about 10 seconds Not sure if that is a setting or not.
Yeah you can change it in settings

Battery life so much better since power Adaptive battery saving mode is on

I have always on display on for the tap only as I don't need it on all the time really

Fact it's 09.30 and it's 86% is good news as its on 4G most of the day at work

Did you switch it on from when I mentioned it above buddy or, has it always been on?

I switched it on last night and have noticed a good improvement thus far.

I've got the Exynos S10+ and found the battery life to be amazing. Running in FHD, AOD, Location on etc. Majority of that (90%) was using 4G.

Do you have adaptive power saver on?

So I knew "adaptive battery" was a thing with Pie, but I guess "adaptive power saving" is a Samsung thing only that will tweak certain settings outside of what "adaptive battery" already does?

No I only just did it after I saw your post

I did have it on for power saving mode when I put the res down but not for normal use

It's made a big difference

My battery still on 78% with an hour screen time. Which for my usage on 4G is better

It’s the same as adaptive battery - just rebranded. It doesn’t tweak settings but rather classifies apps into groups to stop them hogging background processes without limiting the functionality.

You can use both APM and Maximum or medium power save together for even greater battery performance. The latter does tweak settings. However, leaving as optimised and APM enables will also bring good battery saving.

Question is, why was this off by default?

I wish I hadn't seen the pics above of the navy leather case. I want one now. lol But already having 2 cases is enough for now!
[doublepost=1552908929][/doublepost]Do people use the remove animations feature? It speeds up opening and closing apps but I found it sometimes makes things lag a little as well.

Yeah would think they would want to promote it

But there are two different power/battery saving methods within the settings menu, in two different locations, named tow different things. From what I can tell, adaptive battery controls apps themselves, while adaptive power saver controls the device itself (CPU speeds, brightness, etc).

Edit: see uploaded screenshots

I didn’t realise that. You are right.

However, I don’t notice any setting or performance differences with Adaptive Power Saved activated.
