Today I got to check out my friend's S10. Wow, just wow. First time in a long time I found a phone that felt great in the hand (so much lighter compared to the XS despite a larger screen), and the display quality was simply amazing. It looked like paper. How did Apple get beat so badly? For the first time, I had myself thinking maybe I should switch to Android.

What is dynamic OLED?

Now that I've come back to the dark side, I'm curious if you all are using:

- Galaxy Watch
- Galaxy Watch Active
- Other
- No Watch

I haven't decided if I want to keep my Galaxy Watch or get rid of it and just go no watch. AOD kind of helps because I can always see what time it is. Just kind of thinking of the overall picture and if I really need a watch or not. I can still easily load RunKeeper on my phone and run with the phone. While leaving the Apple Watch is tough, I've also started to question if I truly NEED a watch.

I’m using the Galaxy Watch Active. It does some things worse than the Apple Watch I used with the iPhone, but also some things better and it’s awesomely comfortable to wear also during the night (something which the larger Gear watches failed at). I prefer having a watch as I prefer having my phone silent all the time and noticing anything relevant from the buzzing on my wrist.

what things does it so better than the Apple watch? And which things are worse.

+Built-in sleep tracking
+Faster workout detection and automatically detects cycling too
+No need to carry a spare charger around as I can use my Samsung Qi powerbank or the reverse charging on my S10+

-Can't do payments as we don't have Samsung Pay in Finland (but the technical capability is there)
-Can't fully answer a call (you can answer on the watch, but need to use the phone for the actual conversation

Its basically just a name Samsung use to differentiate its S10 display to everything else. So yeah… marketing.

That said, the S10 display is outstanding and one thing that people don't realise until they own one is how well it performs in high brightness. Take it outdoors on a super-bright sunny day and put another phone next to it and you'll see its in a completely different class than any other OLED.

I had an XS Max and I find the battery was better on the iPhone than the S10+

Have you adjusted your settings to get better battery like turning settings things off?

Putting Apps to sleep?
I found my xs max battery to be quite poor compared to previous iPhones

I'm on 5hrs 30 mins screen on time with 47% battery remaining on my s10+ as I type this.

I have battered this thing today and I know screen on time isn't everything but I'm at 7.5hrs with 29% left!

That's screen on time not total use

What keyboard is the best to use with the S10+?

I am not really a fan of the stock keyboard anymore and looking to upgrade.

I know I've done my share of complaining about the camera on this phone, but I managed to take some pretty awesome pics over the weekend. Makes it a lot easier to hold onto this device.

Must be my fingers, because I just cant get the damn sensor to recognize my touch or it's ' Press a lil harder ' ( If I pressed any harder, I might crack the screen :p ) 8/10 times! Annoying as hell!

Also, unlike my Note 9, the S10's ' Secure Lock ' (using location) is very inconsistent at best.

Good thing I got this on TMobile's JOD program. Back to the Note 9 for now :)
