I’m sure they will have a pro buds out again i know it was rumoured before it could be out around the same time. I’m sure there will be maybe £700 trade in from s21 ultra maybe or at worse 650.

i will certainly be ordering s22 ultra. Just not sure on what storage yet. I was using 49% on my s21 ultra last time i looked so dunno if to go 512GB this time. I have 131GB left on my 256GB 13 pro max.
£650 - £700 would be a good deal! I don’t think they offer that currently tho.

If they offer that, it would be worth me picking an s21 ultra up now to mess with as that’s around used UK value. Then chop it in at upgrade time with no real loss

That gives a lot of hope for the Note22 aka S22 Ultra

I will certainly reward Samsung for reviving the Note and come up with something better than S21U. Now it makes sense launching one flagship every 12 months rather than every 6 months which can be costly and time consuming for Samsung.

Um… I believe they still launch two flagships each year. The foldables now slide in the note slot and they combined the note into the s series or vice versa. Since foldables have that September-November launch now… bringing out the Note would divert some of the attention away from the foldables.

So, now Samsung can use the first of the year to launch the Note with the silo for the S-Pen… for which, I think it will sell like crazy. Because theres really no one competing against the Note, there’s no S20U vs Note20U debates like before. If users want a premium Samsung phone at the first of the year… go with the Note. Then there’s the foldables for the holiday season.

I also kind of wish iOS had that iPhone Note option. Stylus with Silo. Squared off flat slab with no notch or camera bumps.

Yeah another case that would swallow the iPad market.

I actually thought Apple would make the iPhone compatible with the Apple Pencil, it was rumors that they would of introduce support for Apple Pencil. But just like their mindset with touchscreens on Macs... stylus for the iPhone doesn't seem in the cards for Apple.

21 Ultra beat them all

Not surprised by this in the least. Samsung did an amazing job with the S21 Utra. Unlike other OEMs, Samsung keeps making huge updates to the user experience, with feedback taken from their members app. They also keep making big updates to the camera software. Picture quality just kept getting better throughout the year. And if the rumors are correct, the S22 Ultra is gonna be another phone to set a very high bar, right from the beginning of the year. Kudos to Samsung. That being said, I can't wait to see what they have in store for the Flip 4.

At times this year I owned a S21 Ultra, Fold 3, iPhone 12 Pro Max, and Pixel 6 Pro. The S21 Ultra was the best of the bunch. No weak points and an absolute powerhouse.

Any chance the “hole punch” would completely disappear on the S22?

No and you probably wouldn't want it to. The next progression will be the under display camera and if the Fold 3 told us anything, its that the technology for that isn't ready.

Maybe in a years time
as the punch hole makes its debut on the iPhone 14
