Anybody actually know the differences between normal s pen and s pen pro? Lol seems very odd why they did this
We all know why they did this. But kinda surprised you resisted the temptation of going with the S21 Ultra, I’m guessing you staying on the Fold train...

Yeah remained strong. Happy with my fold and I think the fact it’s different to my iPhone helps. Getting a normal phone for me would make things too similar

Will see what other leaks we get for fold 3 to decide if I will upgrade to that.

I don’t know if anyone has gotten their hands on one to present it for us. They’re all at minimum 4 weeks away, I think.
I think you’re right. It would be awesome to see the PB and PS - they look incredible and I really liked the checkered camera cover. The brown also looks incredible.

I also cancelled my original order and re-ordered via my works Perkatwork discount site for 20% (10% off initial price and a further 10% cash back) off plus the buds and tags - a good saving of £220 over my 12PM.

I just had a look all three s21 models, Samsung as always bounce back from previous problems and S21 series is a good example.

The s21 plus screen looks beautiful, huge and open due to the flat screen, it doesn't look like FHD at all, really like'm all but sadly you can not use s pen on that wide and gorgeous screen 😌

As for the Ultra .....i'll leave it to you but its funny how the ugliest part of S20U has became the most attractive of S21U which is the camera hump.

I agree that it doesn't look like a native FHD display to me. I'm curious if they're still using a higher resolution panel and just not offering the ability to run at the native resolution. Either way based on the time I spent with it today I didn't feel like it was a downgrade from prior offerings.

I placed my preorder for the S21. The $150 instant credit was a nice bonus! I was able to get two cases (both leather and silicone), a wireless trio charger, and a travel charger, plus $350 for my iPhone X. Not even Apple will offer me that much for my iPhone X on a trade!

Got my Spigen hybrid case for my S21 Ultra today. When compared to my S20 plus the Ultra seems to be almost the same dimensions. The only notable difference is that it seems considerably thicker. Wonder how the weight difference will feel in hand.

Pulled the trigger. Bundled accessories and generous trade-in pushed me over the fence. I feel dirty that Samsung got me for the charger though.

S21 Ultra 256GB unlocked phantom blue
Buds Pro phantom black
Leather Cover black
Clear Cover
Smart Tag
25W travel adapter

-$400 S10+ cracked screen trade-in
-$50 coupon code YOURGALAXY1RESERVEWA (only seems to apply to accessories)

Subtotal $807.49
Tax $122.86
Total $930.35

In the UK, Samsung initially had higher trade in prices for their own handsets but those got reduced after a couple of days.

Those initial trade in prices were tempting indeed to get a S21 Ultra for less than £549 with a S20+ trade in but now it will be nearly £100 dearer.

Wonder what is going on!?

Some good deals on at O2 for the S21 ultra. They are offering 6 months free airtime along with the usual 6 months free of Netflix, Disney plus etc and the pre -order gifts.

trade ins are always awful in UK but still highest £550 is not great. not that I would have traded in my fold 2 but least give it as an option.

on samsung recycle it's £800 if I wanted to trade it in there so maybe thats why they refuse to add it as an option.

I just ordered the S21 Ultra for $692.89 with tax. Trading in my S10 plus. When I bought my S10 plus I paid $688 with tax with S8 trade in. I’m doing better this time around because I’m getting with my S21 Ultra, a leather case, clear case, Galaxy Buds Pro and Smart Tag.

I hope I don’t miss this S10 plus. Only things I didn’t like about it is, sensitivity, just putting it in my purse and something would come on, also impossible to keep a screen protector for long with the curved edges. They didn’t last long and expensive. The display is great on this phone, but I expect the S21 ultra to be just as good.

I qualify for the 10% through perks at work but how do you get the 10% cash back?

Yeah I also have perksatwork via my employer but nothing shows for ‘Samsung’. I get John Lewis, Curry’s, littlewoods and ebuyer only. Do you see ‘Samsung’? Must be whoever my employer has agreed sales with unfortunately.

If you purchase via perks at work, there’ll issue you 10x perks points which equates to cash back and you can withdraw it after about 4 months. Should all be connected to your perks at work account. Following the correct link.

Broke down and pre ordered.

Couldn't say no to the price.

I ordered a s9 off of swappa to turn in to tmobile. Making the total price for a 256 GB s21 ultra $650, plus $200 in free samsung credit.

Current note 10+ will go to my GF.

Agreed, the preorder combined with the ridiculous trade in prices and decreased S21 line make this a no brainer.

Early rumors Im hearing are that Samsung might have finally hit on the cameras this time around. Zooms seemed to be much improved, contrast doesnt seems as severe, and apparently the face smoothing now has an option that dials it way way back. I havent heard about shutter speed but if they finally improve that, Samsung might have nailed it.

Just checked the phones out in person.

Ultra:
- Screen is incredible. Nothing new here. Colors are ridiculous.
- Phantom Black is the best color I've ever seen on a phone.
- Camera array looks even better in person.
- Not too heavy. Seems to balance ok. But definitely thicker than the last series.
- Didn't get to mess around with the cameras too much, other than I noticed when I opened the camera is asked if I wanted natural faces versus I think it said brightened. I assume this is face smoothing.
- wouldn't let me set up a fingerprint on the demo version (which makes sense) so I didn't get to test the new sensor.
- Edges are very slightly curved..

S21 Plus
- flat screen looks amazing. They should have done the same with the Ultra. It just looks so much cleaner and feels better to use.

My cancel button disappeared overnight on my Samsung unlocked order.

Should start getting notices for shipping later this week. I imagine deliveries for middle of next week from Samsung. Some carriers orders will not deliver before the release date though.
Anyone else see the cancel button disappear?

If you ordered through Samsung, they usually ship pre-orders early. Every time Ive ordered through them before a release date I get the phone early. Usually only a day or 2 but still.

Edit: Some people on Twitter have their FedEx tracking info showing up. Showing a delivery date of Jan 27th. So, 2 days early.
