The 2100 wins by bit in the ultimate test. At last we laughing haha..
His methodology is very flawed. Though he set the settings the same on each phone, he doesn't have each phone set up the exact same way. In order to get meaningful results, he needs to do both of these tests in a factory reset state. When each phone has been set up, and set up differently, the results aren't going to reflect an apples to apples comparison.

Its not like the phones are stuffed with memory hungry games or other apps. You don't need to factory reset the phones to get a fair result. The phones still brand new and at the peak of their condition in every way.

You do need to. Simple changes in settings such as nearby device scanning, nearby share, and many other settings can make changes in the battery life. If you have two phones that are set up differently, you can easily have two completely different results. If you don't ensure that everything is exactly the same (which is why you need a factory reset), your results aren't legitimate.

You probably fast warded the video. The guy made sure all settings are exact and he really seems experts in this area.

I seem to be on target to reach 8 hours on screen everyday, just by calculating the remainder etc...I've never had that kind of battery time, ever.

Now, there's no way I have that much time on my hands anyway, but its nice to know that I can if I need to.

Today, 4 hours, 51 minutes with 43% remaining.

My only gripe is the phone does get warm if using the camera for an extended period of time, not ridiculously hot but warmer than my Note 20U ever got.

The macro camera is the most impressive part of the camera for me, everything thing else is good but the macro is so usable.

No he didn't, and no I watched the video. He only showed a couple settings in two phones that are fully set up complete with installed apps. There could be a lot of differences in settings between the two.

So I have been trying out the wireless Dex feature on my computer. For the life of me, I can't come up with a use case that makes sense for it. The same was true without the wireless Dex when connecting it to my computer. Why do I need to make my phone into a desktop experience on my dekstop? How will that ever be useful? Does anyone have a use case in mind that would be practical?

If you are expert why don't you show us how its done so that we learn from you ?

Try your TV instead, you'll probably find it more useful.

Not sure why the sardonic tone.. The long and the short of it is his methodology is flawed, and his results don't carry any weight because of it. Not sure why that presses a button for you, but it is what it is. You may not be aware of how much of a difference certain settings can make. Something as simple as nearby share or device scanning, can skew a comparison one was or the other. Something as simple as having the option to report feedback, turned on, can make a difference. Without everything being defaulted, you can't compare the two legitimately.

Similar results here so its a major big step for the Exynos chipset and probably get better next year.

Seems samsung has admitted there’s an issue with The S21 Ultra camera with exynos 2100 versions. Lets see if it fixes the issues some are having. They have also stated about overheating issues as well.

lets give Samsung a chance to fix these problems and if it’s even possible to fix via software.

This makes me more at ease with my order for the 21 Ultra coming tomorrow.

I have been a long term follower of the Tech Chap and he's usually spot on with his investigations.

This time the poor guy even got a second SD888 S21 Ultra for the interest of fairness. Respect.

Looks like Exynos has caught up!

lol I'm the one everyone thinks is crazy. I don't use cases at all. One of the reasons I buy the phones I buy is because I the aesthetic. I don't want to take away from that with a case, and I don't want the additional bulk a case brings. So it's naked phones for me! lol
I don’t use cases at the beach anymore. We used to have an awesome UK (Irish??) member here named MRU and he did a lot of beach photography with various phones. One piece of advice he gave, which I follow because I trusted him to know what he was talking about, is to never have your phone in a case at the beach. Sand will get in and scratch. I’ve observed sand get ON my phone but with nothing to push the sand against the finish it harmlessly shakes off.

I use a case at home and in the car because I’m prone to dropping my phones. I used to have a very tall dog who was very excitable and she was always knocking things out of my hands. Even up to the very end in her old age, she was doing that. So much the better if she knocked something edible! I trip over cats. Get bumped into by kids. Trip over my own feet. Trip over toys and things with wheels on them that get left.

But at the beach, the phones go naked. Little metal and glass nudists!

I remember taking my Flamingo Pink S10+ along on a beach trip with friends. Of course my phone was nekkid. That was the most obnoxiously bright phone I owned aside from the yellow iPhone XR. That phone got so much attention and double takes as people passed by and it caught their eye. It was quite a color! It glowed in a way my daughter’s coral Xr didn’t. It was something. I wonder if I’ll ever own a color that obnoxious again. I’m certainly willing to! 😆

Meanwhile the most stealth black phone I will have owned up to this point is set to arrive today. The roads cleared up so I’m hopeful and excited!

Admittedly I haven't done much research yet and it's still early days. However for Samsung to come out and address the issues very publicly and promote the fact that they have improved the exynos Chip then I have faith that they have.

The image processing even seems a bit better on the Exynos in his tests and the Exynos photos look more like those from the iPhone 12 Pro Max in terms of white balance and showing a bit more detail.

There are slight differences but not enough for any of us to get indignant about this time. I do wonder if Samsung fined tuned some things in any updates that Tech Chap’s phone benefits from that Arun didn’t get at the time he made his comparison video.
