I’m really happy with my S21 Ultra so…I don’t know. There isn’t really a direct comparison between the Ultra and a foldable for me to know how I’ll feel when I see the foldables. I have 3 iPhones so maybe I’ll unload my 12 Pro Max instead. Who knows.
I'm really happy with the Fold 2... this being my first foray into the foldable market, I don't see myself leaving it. However, considering the specs of the Fold 3... I don't see a huge benefit to upgrade from the Fold 2.

Original Fold had that smaller outer display, which made going to the Fold 2 was a no brainer. As much as I enjoy using the SPen when I had the Note10+, I'm alright with passing it up this year. And I think Fold 3 might ditch MST for those that value Samsung Pay.

I think there is every reason to get the Fold 3 :)

Like you I have a Note 20 as a spare and on the odd occasion I use it its like holding something alien LOL and its completely frustrating not having the extra real-estate that comes with the Fold, once your use to it it's hard to go back to a standard slab phone.

I will upgrade but trade in my Note 20 and keep my Fold 2 as my spare :D

PS GM the Fold 2 does have dust protection and sweeper brushes, plus most cases protect the hinge, I expect the Fold 3 will improve on this.

@Tulani Don't mean to dampen your excitement, but maybe you can post Fold 3 and Flip 3 posts in their respective threads instead of lumping everything here. :) This is still a thread about the S21 series.

Ok so for the last month or so, i have been using the S21 Ultra Again. After getting a good discount on it i pulled the trigger for a second time. It really is a great phone and one of the best if not the best of 2021. It is not being used as my main phone, i still like my iPhone, i just wanted something different and i feel that the S21 Ultra scratches that Android itch.

I have all of my apps on it, i have my SIM card in my iPhone for work and iMessage. I think this time around I have found a happy medium that seems to work for me.

I REALLY love the Phantom Black! It looks so nice in both picture and in person.

Glad it’s worked for you

For me as long as I keep my iPhone as my main with the Apple Watch I know I can still enjoy android. I just know it can’t replace my iPhone and once I realised that the more I would be happy with android

but recent iPhone (pro12max) has been "cooking chicken and fries" #heating

What i meant was there is still massive room to improve the candy bar phones so i am not sure why Samsung is ignoring its most successful phone (Note ) and focussing on the folds.

This is the same for me, I love my Apple Watch and I don‘t to remove it from my life, in fact I plan to upgrade to the Series 7 when it’s announced next month (I’m currently on the Series 4). But when it comes to the iPhone, I feel like Apple have fallen behind. The design of the S21 Ultra is brilliant, even the software is great. The only thing that keeps me on iPhone is the Apple Watch, iMessage and Apple Pay.

I can’t now anyway, I’m past the 28 days for returning it. I have no intention of doing so anyway. The more i have used it, the more i have come to appreciate certain features we just don’t get on the iPhone.

Do you just use it on WiFi? No cellular service turned on since you have your sim in the iPhone?
