I bought one as a backup phone line for my husband and me. It does not feel like a flagship compared to my 12 Pro Max or Note 20 Ultra and I wish it supported Dex and S-pen but it is a great little phone for its niche. It is very pocketable yet has a great camera (no telephoto is only deficit I see and I don’t use that very much anyway), fantastic screen, and decent battery life for my purposes considering the portability of this device. I don’t know that I would give up my flagship phones but I’m keeping the Flip 3 anyway bc it’s wonderful for what it is. We are traveling right now and it is just too nice slipping it away in my pocket or tucking it in a bag. I also think it helps with weaning yourself away from habit of mindless scrolling or playing with a phone. I shut it (very satisfying to flip open and shut BTW) and am present where I am bc I’m not so tempted to glance down mindlessly at a phone screen. Also love using it tabletop at 90 degrees for snapshots and browsing. Note: the Samsung silicone ring case is a nice accessory.
I use a 12 Pro Max as my daily phone bc I have an elderly mom who can’t handle messaging otherwise but I do think at this point Samsung is innovating more and One UI software is more sophisticated and feature-laden than iOS. I love the way the app drawer works on One Ui, also Dex, notifications, navigation, S Pen note-taking, and dual app capability just to name a few.
