Anyone who chooses waterproofing over not having a crease down the middle of their screen is a fool. Purchasing the phone does not mean that you prefer waterproofing over not having a crease down the screen.
No it means your daft accusation carry's little weight as already seen the size of, or a crease is not a deciding factor for millions be it for waterproofing or otherwise

I'm not sure why it irks you so much on others preferences LOL

You really think someone will buy them? Thought never cross my mind because I doubt I’ll get much action for them. It’s not as if they are AirPods or Beats..
I've had success on previous ones with coworker or friend looking for buds ...locally prob be best way ...or Ebay I see them going for $170 or so

I just received my $200 reward code… unfortunately have nothing to use it for.

Was thinking of buying those Galaxy Buds2 Pro… but um, they didn’t seem like a worthy upgrade for me. And I’m definitely not upgrading my Watch 4 Classic to the Watch 5 Pro. I’m guessing I have to wait it out till December 8th to see if there’s some crazy deal. Because I was thinking about the Tab S8 so could give it to a family member.
I'm really liking the Buds 2 Pro alot. They feel and sound better than airpods pro to me. I know sound is a subjective thing. The touch sensitive controls on the Buds do bother me though. They are very sensitive to the touch even if I just barely touch to adjust the bud it's triggering transparency mode or whatever. Also really liking the watch 5 pro. Just dropped the 4 classic off to FedEx. It definitely has a more premium feel and look to it and the battery life is fantastic. Samsung makes it too easy to upgrade with these great trade in deals.

lol not really.. they axed the physical sim option here.. e-sim ONLY for the 14s.. 'courage' !!
Don't worry. Samsung will release ads saying they have physical sims in their flagships then by 2024, they will magically be esim only. We've seen this play out over and over.

Hi, so i jut got my fold 4 to replace my ipad pro whenever im out and about. I treat it as my "portable" tablet and also my back up phone as my main phone is still an iphone 13 pro max.
Anyway being new to android i need some help:

-is there anyway i can grt icloud email on my samsung? Im using samsung email app on my fold 4

-how to sync contact properly between iphone and samsung without any duplicates and messing with the contact fields?

-is there a way to sync icloud photo between them ?

Because i need a bigger screen to edit my photos, i took pictures with my dslr, normally i will send the pictures from my sony dslr to my phone and edit them on my ipad since i need bigger screen for editing. But bringing around ipad sometimes is inconvinient so i get the fold to replace the ipad.

Thank you so much.

I don't like how thr Buds fit me so I use my Airpod Pro's. Is there an app y'all use on your phone to control them? Mine seem to always set to noise cancelation mode.

Yep! I had about a day left before I was going to open those bad boys though. Was dying to use them. But, I have so many airpods, it's a bit silly.
Haha let's see what I do when my buds arrive this weekend .... I'm leaning towards opening

I use Outlook for my icloud email and it works well and is push, so you get the email instantly vs fetch.

I'd recommend using Google photos and backup your icloud library to there and then backup your Fold 4 to Google photos as well. I do that and switch between iOS and Android all the time and it's nice to have all my pics from both phones saved.

Played with it a little at the store right now and I really like the build quality but the software is kind of lacking. I liked how you can flip it half way, sort of like a laptop mode on YouTube but it doesn’t seem to be supported by many apps. Didn’t work on Outlook, Gmail or Chrome for example.

30x zoom sounds nice on paper but I already noticed a lot of fuzzy artifacts and lack of colors by x3

I also kept trying a swipe up to go back to the Home Screen 😅 didn’t work

Overall, cool idea though!

You can force flex mode by going into the settings on good lock... But we definitely need more development with some other apps though

Never really been a Flex Mode type of person… I normally just sit the Fold up on stand.

Haven’t had an issue swiping up. But lately… I‘ve grown accustomed to using the all app icon on the taskbar to get into my apps (or accessing my most used apps on the edge panel).

Tbh, I don’t think you can get a grasp of how useful it is by a mini-tour on the showcase floor lol. The more you use it.. the more you find ways to utilize it to your preference. For instance, how @aggie99 who has setup his Fold to add play calls to it.

For your email using the Samsung email app, you have to go log into appleid.apple.com. From there you can set up an authorization code that can be used to let the Fold 4 receive and send email. After you set up the code at Apple, go to setup on the Samsung email client, put in the required info and use the new code. Works for me.

Oops. I pre-ordered the iPhone 14PM. Haha. I'd love to switch back and forth but the esim issue will be tricky. I'll probably use the 14PM up to the last day of return then make a decision. I'm leaning towards my Fold4, though due to the screen but we shall see.

Most of my iPhone contacts didn't realize they could FaceTime Android users by selecting the Create Link button. They were shocked that it worked so well.

Ordered a 1TB Pro Max for my wife and a 512gb Pro Max for my Mum.

Over £1700 in the UK for the £1TB with no other incentives.

The iPhone makes my Fold 4 a complete bargain in comparison. However, women usually do not like Android so I have no choice.

Yeah, all of my siblings agreed to only buy Apple products for our parents. With them not being tech savvy and only using their phones for FaceTime and messaging, it's just way easier.

We tried a flagship Samsung phone with my mom last year, and after two days, she was frustrated with all the options. Lol. She said "get me back on to Apple. This (s) is too complex! Where's the FaceTime button at?"

Lol. Welcome to America where Apple is king.

I am not so sure :) as most Android phones sold in Asia are dual physical sim and its considerably more problematic using esims.

A year for carriers and users to adapt maybe too short

Even with that, where's her FaceTime button to video chat with her grandkids. Lol. We overlooked how important that was to her. But we definitely learned that day because she gave us an ear full.
