I saw and had a very quick play with a Fold 4 today.

Very very nice!

Can totally see why they are a game changer for those who get them.

My Fold 4 is silky smooth. I can't imagine going back to a traditional phone again.
certainly great tech. I don't use it all the time now but so nice when i need it for easy portability.

when you are tired and don't want to pick up a big tablet for example but want a bigger screen than the phone it's ideal.

I downloaded AirMessage on my Fold. Quick and easy.
I haven’t used AirMessage (or BlueBubbles) on the Fold yet.. I’ve been contemplating installing the server on my Mac, but I don’t know.

And I seen your post in the S23 thread that you are returning the Fold due to battery life… its unfortunate that the Fold couldn’t measure up, but its cool you gave it a try.

I'm surprised by how much I am enjoying it. Pixel's UI is cleaner, but OneUI is more thoughtful and practical.
Consider Nova Launcher Prime (or the free version) for your Z Fold. After 10+ years of Samsung OS use, I find Nova to be much more customizable and better suited to my preferences. Your experience may vary.

Looks like Samsung has released OneUI 5.1 to the foldables.

Got mine and downloaded today

Noticed you mention there’s some Buds coming your way soon.

Seen this in the reddit thread about being new to OneUI 5.1

Well my love for the Z Fold 4 has come to an abrupt end unfortunately, as of 2 days ago the inner screen decided to fail on me without warning black line all the way down the centre & I've babied this phone :/, luckily I got a year free Samsung care with this phone & is now currently with Samsung to get fixed, also i didn't have any issues with Samsung customer service in the UK.

When i get the phone back it going up for sale or might trade it in at Samsung towards a S23 Ultra & cut my losses, i have no trust anymore in foldables, because i have a feeling the inner screen will probably go again at some point in another 6 or 7 months.

Luckily i have a backup iPhone SE 2020 to use until i get the phone back.

I think I'll be skipping the next few gens of foldables.

Thats sad to hear, it's certainly an issue which can happen. Guessing no drops or anything? luckily I've not had any issue.

I do worry though as I did drop mine once with no damage but just hope long term nothing happens
