Is there a trick to getting into the OneUI 8 beta? It says "Samsung Members isn't supported in this region." I'm in the US on an unlocked phone on Mint Mobile if that matters.
This is one killer feature I've been waiting for on the Android side. Hope Google improves upon it. I still find sports notifications to be much better on iOS. Oftentimes scores are not updated or significantly delayed compared to the iOS sports live activities.Also, yay!

I was really excited for the now bar, but it's not used very much. I was really hoping that it would be the Android version of Apple's Dynamic Island but it hasn't gotten there yet. Hopefully it will and it will be much more useful.
Yeah if you can use any app, I'll probably just use Yahoo Sports and turn off the Google sports;

For the S25U? Should arrive fairly soon (maybe) this month… as far as other Galaxy phones, not sure because none of them received a beta invite.
Not quite sure… I seen an One UI 8 update recently on One Handed Operation.
Now that the Fold 7 is out of the picture, waiting for One UI 8 beta. I have it on the Watch Ultra.. but since T-Mobile hasn’t been activated on it. Cannot participate in the beta program.
Surprised Samsung even let me enter into it… but anywho, waiting for both Watch Ultra and Fold firmware versions of One UI 8 beta.
How do you get on with your watch ultra? I switched back to my Garmin after 2 days lol. Realised it does the fitness alot better, and I prefer the notifations weirdly lol
I would think on 7/25 when the Fold 7 is released with OneUI 8 the full
release would be available as well But you never know

No worries. Unfortunately... I can't use it, Samsung allowed me to enter the program without validating whether T-Mobile is activated on my Watch.
It's strange that T-Mobile has to be activated on my watch in order to use the beta... but that's the requirements. Been checking daily to see when they will open it up for others... but Samsung haven't done so yet. I'm interested in the Bedtime Guidance feature since I sleep with the watch.
I might be in the market for an upgraded phone now. I was traveling this week and on a hike I tripped and scraped my knee. It's nothing major, but I ended up cracking the screen and it's pretty noticeable. I got the Samsung Ultra 24 in April of 2024 so maybe it is time for an upgrade. I was hoping to keep it for at least two years, but it might be worth getting the upgrade now. Also, the more I use Android the more I like it and I have a love hate relationship with Apple at the moment. The only reason to go back to Apple was to get a music app that connected to Apple Music. What I have now with Last.fm and Apple Music works really well.
Do people buy phones on Amazon? They are actually running a prime deal on the S25 Ultra but I'm just wondering if it's too good to be true. I'm also still debating if I want to update or not or just live with the cracked screen. The new phones announced this week are also pretty expensive (And the trade in value for my phone now is like $100 which sucks). I'm also still not convinced with the folds or flips. That middle crease was pretty annoying when I saw one of the phones up close a few years ago. Is that something they have actually improved on over the years?
I have bought multiple. Never an issue. Better return policy than Best Buy or carriers.
Well, I went ahead with the purchase. S25 Ultra Titanium Black, and I wanted more storage space so I went up to 512 GB. Hopefully I don't have to do this again for a while.
