This may be an odd one but does anybody else find their s25 ultra hold on to a signal much better than the iPhone?

A place I use that has WiFi that isnt too great but it seems the s25 seems to stay on WiFi more than my 16pm

I can't believe people don't use Apple Music with this phone. Do none of you value sound quality?! I personally hate the apple music app as a whole, the interface, everything. Much prefer Spotify.
But if you want decent sound, Apple Music can't be touched. Apart from perhaps Tidal, but that is a rip off.

In other news, it's criminal to use a case with this phone. It's such amazing hardware I love taking the case off when at home and using it NEKKID. 😛

I switched to Tidal after running into several bugs with Apple Music and will continue using that. Don't like the Spotify UI at all.

Granted I am on Wi-Fi, so that's not always a great representation. I'm sure it would drain more on 5G

Same here... WFH, still! lol

Also live in a major metropolitan area with oodles of 5g (T-mobile) towers.

No complaints with 5g as well as out in the sticks 4g or no signal at all (during GPS-only tracking purposes, riding a mountain bike).

Just going to leave this here.....

Anyone with an unlocked S25U receive the February update yet? Apparently it was released for the unlocked models finally but nothing on mine yet.

A week and a day. Unlike last time, I haven't had one itch to even turn my iPhone on. This phone is close to perfect.
So.. you actually moving on from the iPhone… nicely done!

Congrats. I haven't bought or sold on there yet might have to give that a try.

If you don't already use Boost for Lemmy as a reader app, I highly recommend checking it out.

I haven't moved on from Sync for Reddit... using it via ReVanced!

I have never tried Reddit! I never thought that as an option! how does payments work?
There's a sub called Hardware swap and you just agree to a price and send them a PayPal goods & service invoice. You can leave feedback for others to see how many successful transactions everyone has. I've sold probably 50 things with zero issues. I usually do a bit of snooping at people's history on reddit before I agree to sell to someone.

I use Apple Music; always have done and find it faultless... It's an easy app and as already said; the sound is top notch

I've got some JBL 305P MkII monitors and an SMSL Bluetooth DAC for my garage system as the Edifier speakers died; the Lossless audio quality is excellent

Thank you!

Haha I am so bad at Reddit. I tried to make a post and it was immediately removed and they said something about me not meeting requirements and a mod mail.

I swear this happens to me half the time I try to post a topic on Reddit.

for r/hardware swap here's what must be in the post:

subject must be (use your state instead of CA): [USA-CA][H] iPhone etc. [W] PayPal

Body must have pics link (imgur or similar) at the top with your username and date in the pics on a piece of paper. Also for items above a certain $, maybe like 300 you need a short video of the item

Body must contain if repairs or not. I put: Repairs: None

Those are the biggies that get you rejected. Sounds like a lot but it really helps weed out some scams.

You can also try swappa. Pretty safe and easy. Fees are not too bad.

Check it out.
