1. I use the adguard dns address in settings for ad blocking.

2. I believe you need not just a suitable plug/charger but a 5A cable to get the 45 watt charging.
Thanks!

1. Do you know where I find that?

2. I do have a 5A cable but not the official Samsung charger.

I'm heavily considering getting the Galaxy Watch Ultra (Since I had the Ultra on the Apple side). I did get the Watch Classic 6 and I really like the looks but I notice that it does stutter sometimes and supposedly the Ultra has a bit better battery life. Also, I only paid $170 for the Classic 6 and Samsung would take $400 on a trade in, lol.

Just not sure if it's reeeeeaaaaallly an upgrade.
Android watches are kinda meh. Apple.watch is far superior to any android watch.

Try the galaxy watch 7 or the watch ultra.

I'm currently using the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic and I literally see zero difference between this and an Apple Watch. LOL

But I did order the Ultra and it's coming today. I'm not 100% sure if I'll actually keep the Ultra though. The 6 Classic Silver is such a good looking watch, but I just don't like how narrow the bands are. To me they look a little skinny compared to the big bulky watch. We'll see what happens when I get the Ultra today. It might go right back in the box if it doesn't look as good as my Classic. :)

I love the Samsung Ultra so much didn't think I would love it over AWU but it's great

A suggestion: could someone start a new Android (and or Samsung-specific) watch thread and all interested parties continue the the conversation over there?

I'm not at all interested in any smartwatches and there has been a lot banter on here about them lately.

No real need, the older watches with older processors are very slow. A watch 5 pro is very slow today and lags alot. The processor is everything and ram is everything.

Apple is coded differently so the older watches tend to be quicker but to my realization thr battery life in older Apple watches barely last a day while and the android watches tends to have better battery life. My watch 7 gets close to 3 days and it's 6 months old already.

It's really about Apple health is android health or whatever.

Either Samsung or Google fit or health. The features and the software into it.

A guy on YouTube tested all three and says Apple is still the best and Google health is close behind and Samsung is last. This is mostly fitness tracking features and accuracy.

Yeah before I got into the Ultra world with watches, I had the Apple Watch Series 7 that was about a year old and the battery was horrendous. Like I was happy to finish the day at 30%.

Samsung S25/ S25 Ultra .ne. watches

It would be far better and more informative for others to continue the conversation about the mobile phone and move the watch discussion elsewhere, imo. If not... no worries; I'll go elsewhere for that sort of conversation.
