Have One and Looks Great!

I have purchased one from IQShield for my Apple Watch 42mm and personally loved it. Had received what looks like a bad batch but company was responsive and send me a replacement.

So I have ordered like every protector out there and none of them have been sasfactory. I tried the Skinomi first and they didn't fit. I got the Zagg HDX at the booth and it wouldn't adhear right on the edges.

Ended up with the original which was OK but the orange peel started getting to me. Pulled it off and tried the ArmorSuit today. After an hour wasted and 2 protectors, I couldn't get it straight and dust kept accumulating on the edges. Took it off, tried the revised Skinomi and the quality of the protector was horrid. It's like the worst of anti-glare and clear protectors combined.

Swung by Best Buy after wasting a chunk of the day trying to install them myself. Picked up and had them install the Zagg HD. So far, it's the clearest I have had and I am happy with the protector. Now, the corners are giving me a problem staying down but if it's not 'set' I'll take it back tomorrow.

What a nightmare and I ended up back where I always do: with Zagg. I will never deviate from them again. I don't know why I ever did.

My Armorsuit went on perfect, and dried perfect. Quite happy. The main thing with these is always patience. Glad you are getting it figured out

I had the ArmorSuit screen protector on my watch but i finally peeled it off after a week because it looked like crap . The screen protector material doesn't bounce back after it's been dinged or scuffed unlike the hard plastic material that PowerSupport uses for it's iPhone screen protectors. You can see all the imperfections from the wear and tear which takes away from the luster of the watch. The fitment is perfect for the round edges but doesn't hold up to everyday use IMO.

i've noticed this... i'm going to request a warranty replacement cuz i have several dings and a scuff that bug me....

gotta say i'm happy it's the screen protector and not the watch face that is dinged and scuffed!

and i'm still very happy with my choice of screen protector! (although, if they ding this easily, they may get sick of warranty requests!)

Here's the BestSkinEver 42mm cover. I love that it extends past the screen and offers a little protection to case around the glass.

That's great the screen protectors you bought look great out of the box and fitment is 100% but how does it hold up after weeks of use? From my personal experience, the ArmorSuit screen protector turns to crap from the wear and tear of daily use (see my comments in three posts above). If you still can't tell it's on there after weeks of use, I'm sold. Otherwise I rather go naked and not use anything IMO.

If the imperfections bug you from dings how will a scratched up screen make you feel?

I doubt it will because I've got the sapphire screen. I just purchased the screen protector because I want to keep this in mint condition for reselling purposes. I doubt I need it but I decided anyway because they're very inexpensive. If I have to keep changing them every week, there goes that idea and I'll just pass.

So back to my original question above...

I had the armor suit on mine and I took it off today because it started to peel around the edges because of my pockets. It looked good when I first installed it though

I just installed the Armorsuit tonight. Thanks for the tips posted about getting the sides and corners down. I never thought they'd stay down.

I do have some concerns about the edges possibly curling up at some point but I'll have to see if it's an issue going forward.

Also, I can't stress enough to just throw the watch on the charger and let the liquid and bubbles work themselves out. I was worried about the "orange peel" effect, but most of that has disappeared after just two hours.

How did you get the edges to stay? I tried to install the 38mm on my wife's watch and it wouldn't stay on the top and bottom edges.

You have to keep working it until it starts to dry out and then it gets more tacky. Took me a good 15-20 minutes.

So wait is everyone saying now that the armor suit looks good at first but then starts peeling and scuffing easily and looking like crap very quickly ?

The point of a screen protector is to absorb the scuffs so they don't damage the actual screen. That's the nature of a screen protector. Armor suit has a lifetime warranty, so if it gets too damaged they just send you a new one for free. I've had mine for a few weeks now and it still looks fine. It will really be up to how rough you are on it.

right but it sounds like it's scuffing much easier than we're accustomed to with screen protectors as well as peeling which is a big no-no.

I mean only a few weeks in and people reporting multiple visible scuffs and peeling edges is not typical of today's screen protectors.

I've been using my zagg for the last 2 weeks with no such issues.

Mine stayed down at the edges from the best buy install. Took about 6 hours for all bubbles to clear and looks great..
