Thanks for the responses. I wear Oakleys too and will order the ESR. I haven’t used a screen protector for many years, but I’m a little worried this time now that my kids are a little bigger and are asking to hold my phone sometimes.

I have never used a screen protector before but have to say the ESR one is so so much better than when I last tried them in the iPhone 4 days! It’s worth giving it a shot

Looking at those screen protectors i really can't understand why this year almost none of the brands were capable to release a protector fully edge to edge all of them are leaving a gap

The black border, rounded edges, and full coverage of the ESR Armorite make me forget that I have a screen protector most of the time. It’s been excellent. Also, it’s flawless after weeks of use, unlike the screen itself where I can still see that scratch from before I was using a protector

Is this better than the Spigen glass screen protector?
from my understanding there is no true edge to edge product this year, it can however be perceived differently based on the case you are using. I have this exact ESR protector right now and it leaves a 2mm gap between my original apple leather case & the edge of the tempered glass. just check the photos in the reviews. I don't understand the comments, most are praising "fits perfectly" etc. when you clearly see on their images that it does not.

I mean quality wise it’s fine, I like it. And since no better fitting products are around, I‘ll keep it installed. But it’s not like standing out or anything compared to other brands like spigen, imo.

That ESR one is a same as the Whitestone tempered glass screen protector on Amazon which is half the price. I know I’ve had both. Was really good but didn’t like the gaps all around. It was too case friendly for my liking. The Whitestone and ESR were also thicker than the rest. Which I liked.

The Spigen sensor cover screen protector is very good as well. I don't know why it's not highly rated...less gaps than the ESR going off photos

My primary objective this year was to get a black bordered full edge to edge tempered glass protector like the one I had for my 12PM. But none appear to be available that meet my requirements. I ended up using a none black bordered generic tempered glass screen protector from Amazon which is as edge to edge as it gets. Shame really, as I did like the quality of the Whitestone tempered glass which was heavy and substantial compared to the thin one I have now.
I’m not keen on those screen protectors that leave an overly massive gap and claim to be case friendly.

I think the best is FloLab NanoArmour, looked at the review from mobile review eh, got it over a month ago, the quality is much better than ESR and spigen. The coating makes the screen feel so smooth and feels so much better than without the screen protector.

How is the installation? Flo Lab takes too long to be shipped to the UK

the installation was fairly easy, it included a large dust removal sticker that covers the whole screen, an alignment tray, small dust removal stickers. It took about two weeks to ship to Australia but definitely worth the wait.

Despite what they claim im pretty sure mobilereviewseh gets special treatment from flolab. I live very close to that guy and it's been more than a month and the screen protector still hasn't arrived. Looking online it seems common for awful shipping from them paid or free. 30-40+ days to ship is not acceptable and makes me question how he got his protector in time for testing and review.

Personally i’ve only had great experiences with FloLab. I’m currently using one on my 13 pro and shipping to the UK was very fast. I was probably quite fortunate but i ordered on a Sunday and it arrived the following Thursday. Tracking was excellent too. I’ve also made use of their warranty and it was incredibly simple. There was no need for a code or anything. I just filled in a form and was then given the option to add a new protector to my basket for free and just pay shipping. That claim was made last Thursday and tracking says it’s already on plane to UK so once again I should have it within a few days. I guess shipping will be heavily affected by which country you’re in but my experiences in the UK have been great.

Were you charged any VAT on the screen protector? Who was it delivered by?

I ordered an edge-to-edge Flolab screen protector for my 13 PM and got it in a few days. I agree the Flolab seems a cut above all of the less expensive options I’ve used.
