I mean 6th product from the top on the apple.com front page. Basically all product images with different level gray background on that page is good starting point to evaluate displays. Product photo in the middle allow you to "reset" you eyes to see difference in gray between left and right side.

Not bad, looks like average G9N. Not too much tint difference between left and right, just top part it pinkish.
My G9P is similar but also some pink tint on the right side but from what I tested demo G9P's they all had the same issue.

I had another g9n and the pnel was a bit cooler with a noticeable pink tint in the upper right. In my current unit is sligth pinky in the upper but you can notice it just in some extreme conditions so who cares.
in the other unit i can see the pink spot even in low light with tt on .

Average-good level 😬 the new normal.
Does it looks like mine?

I will say so. Like yours ;)
In my opinion, what I can keep others definitely can keep.
But I wanted a white iPhone so I stay with the white One with G9N.
But both panels are good!

Wouldn't it be cooler, if it's closer to desired white balance ~6500K? if the color temp is higher(warmer) it's farther from the desired white balance. Am I missing something?
I consider D65 warm and pleasing. From what I can tell iPhones are closely calibrated to D65 but there is slight variance hence some look bluish, yellowish or pinkish and so on. Anyway G9P look to me like it is rather cool blue with pushed red to meet desired color temp, it gives it certain look, some may prefer, I don't.

I care. :) But honestly I just can't jump to this exchange roulette this year, too consuming mentally.
I did that with my 12 Pro and found nearly perfect G9N. From the photos in this thread similar can be seen in some 15 PM's.
I guess it is because center pieces are much less in amount than corner pieces when these are cut from the big glass during manufacturing process.

Yes I have tested apple.com

The only issues is the brightness issue you can see. For example the picture with the watch I can see it a little bit. The right side is a little minimal bit darker than the left side. But I have to concentrat to see it. In real life you cannot see it 😃

It is also the first panel with no top to bottom tint like the other 4x G9P & G9N I have tested. They all had this even harder with NS at 100%. With this panel there is no difference with NS at 100%.
Yeah, that is pretty good. Likely "center piece".

It is not this one below you mean? Because that looks to me typical G9P with different tint sides.

The bright photo is shooter with nightmode 100% and the other one without nightmode (14 PM Camera)
Brightness 10% & NightShift/TT off.
To the naked eye you cannot see the uneven was from the left side. It is only on the photo.

Yes my G9N is very good.
The only issue is, the brightness on the right side from middle to top is a little bit lower than on the right side. But there is no color tint or something only minimal brightness difference.
With the G9P it was the same but there I had a tint from top to bottom when night shift was 50-100%. With this G9N there is no tint even with 100% NS.

Really happy with it 😄

As I said, not perfect and not a “unicorn” as they don’t exist.

just bought another 15 pro after a month from my last one. its gvc so im guessing its a lg screen? its not bad but not unicorn either haha everything else is perfect tho..no scratches and finally no more dust inside the lenses!

I won’t settle for LG screen. I have a strong suspicion it also draws more power than a G9N. There’s a guy on twitter that posted the thermal power draw on a pixel saying it’s the most efficient oled ever. I’m sure samsung is the supplier.

I even also been really annoyed with the IP68 rating this year, I never had an iPhone get so dusty from normal use. Not even my five year old XS Max ever got this dusty. Apple is getting sloppy.

I guess Apple might use this “E7” panel on the 16PM 🤦🏻‍♂️

is gvc more yellow then g9n/p? or angles with tint are less ?

It’s 3843..it’s shifts to yellow a little bit but doesn’t really bother me tbh.

You are right! There is no such thing as a perfect display! and a perfect iPhone, i.e. without scratches, dust and dead pixels! who says everything is perfect and why doesn't he see it or doesn't want to see it!

Anyone have a Google Pixel 8 Pro?
This have a new Samsung M13 OLED Panel. How is the uniformity compared to the 15 Pro Max with Samsung G9N/G9P?

I believe I have an LG display in my 15 pro. Uniformity is great, but the display is grainy and doesn’t look sharp and off axis shift is bad. If I move it a tiny amount the display shifts. This is my 3rd 15 pro and they have all had poor displays.

Wish I could choose one with a Samsung display.
