Yeah mine said departed from Korea and then just updated to passing clearance. Can’t imagine mine is in Louisville so I’m not too sure where it was at.

Heading to apple store after dad doctor appointment. We bought dad xs max gold 64 and mom xs max 256 gold.

Now since near apple store has them in stock 256gb gold max my dad want to return 64 and get 256.

We bought it and have appointment at 1-1:30 but I would probably get there about 12.

Any thoughts on this appointment thing if you show up early

At my store yesterday in Calif, I just walked in and had to wait about 20 min (even with a business account). The store was filled with people looking at everything and Apple team members helping them. They put xs purchasers against a wall (like a lineup) after reserving the phones we wanted on their iPad. Then, even though there were tons of employees, they must only have had a few who are set up to handle xs sales.

It's really up in the air, but a guess is if you show up at 12, you'll be waiting as if you walked in. So if your dad hates waiting, I'd come a few minutes before the appointment time.
 
I ordered an XS on 9/14 at about 7:30 PM ET and got the 9/28-10/5 shipping date, got it Monday the 24th from UPS

Man. Seeing a lot of people that ordered after me already have their phones. I am still processing. Not looking good. Are unlocked phones in shorter supply, usually?
 
I'm in the same boat as you guys, last movement was the 12:23AM scan in ANC. I'm hoping this will be delivered by tomorrow. Ships to Montreal, QC.

Yep. Just contacted them. No problems. Just processing..... So I checked and my exact model is available in my local Apple store. Cancelled online order placed a new pickup order. Headed in to pick it up now. Oh well, lol...

Yeah it’ll take them a bit to sort and scan to send things to the right place. Louisville probably most if not all day today then to your local hub tonight, truck in the morning!

How do you set the delivery time? In the UPS app I only get an option to use a credit card and in the web version I don’t see it at all?
 
Well...never got an update from UPS, not even the latest customs update. Still just shows that it left Alaska and nothing after that.

Was hoping to pick it up, but leaving Louisville now and heading to Cincinnati. Oh well.

I wouldn’t imagine, just because unlocked phones are pretty popular outside US markets i think. Also i’d imagine the only thing they need to do to “lock” the phone, at the factory involves a few steps which if anything would make a carrier locked phone slower to ship? (Inserting a sim, maybe something else i’m not mentioning). Unless they just happen to keep a bunch of carrier locked phones ready to go based on expected order amount and have less unlocked on standby just because US citizens don’t regularly buy unlocked phones. Idk though, i just doubt there’s anything that effects shipping times there

At least you have that option. If it was preparing to ship you would be beholden to Apple and UPS to get your phone without the ability to cancel online and just pick up in store

iPhone XS 256GB Space Gray AT&T, ordered from Apple store, is still "processing." So, I guess I won't get it at the front end of the Sept. 28 to Oct. 5 delivery period.
 
Just got my AppleCare+ activation email from Apple. Anyone else? (No update on UPS after customs release).
 
yea still no louisville scan.. we exchanged 64gb xs max gold for 256gb xs max gold and also bought another 256gb xs max gold for my sister , while i was standing there debating should i jump the 256wagon xs max gold also hence all my family took 256gb......


thinking it be here tommorrow ( hope it does , i may go ahead return 64gb xs max gold in store and get 256gb xs max gold also.... dad said he will pay the difference on my phone. tempting tempting lol
