No Pencils in Fort Worth, Tx today, although the guy said they have recovered several shipments since it was released, but they only get one or two at a time. Bummer.
I live in Fort Worth and have gone to the store everyday. I have had numerous people tell me they have not even gotten one yet to sell. Who told you this and was this on the phone or in person.

Really? Well I was playing around with it, when an employee came up to me, probably watching me so that I couldn't steal a pencil. Anyway, he said this to me when I asked him in person. I don't remember his name though. I did specifically ask him whether they had received any. He said multiple shipments with one or two pencils. He might have lied, because I was just making small talk, and casually asked about battery life, he didn't know, he thought it was a week. Hahaha. He might have been clueless. Well that is a bummer, I thought they truly had received some. Have you tried southlake?
I went to three stores in the bay area - california.
- Valley Fair Mall - They didn't get anything today - They said that they heard the Stanford Apple store has it.
- Stanford Apple Store - They didn't have it.
- Apple store on University Ave (near Stanford, maybe she was talking about that one) - They didn't have it.
I call southlake everyday also. They also said they have not yet received any but hope to this week. I haven't gone there in person yet like I have been going to the Fort Worth store.
I personally think that after the first wave receive their pencil, they will be widely available everywhere. Just my two cents.
reminder this is a thread on store inventory no griping and complaining anout apple's screwed up supply chain or the jerks hoarding and selling on ebay. Please simply post your area and your findings so we don't have to read all the other crap!
I will be checking the Massachusetts store before hewading back to NYC where I am sure at some point I will snag one before the one I ordered from apple even makes the preparing for shipment stage.
Ny the way this apple smart keyboard really is not so great, will try the logitech but doubt I will like that either!

Checked with Michigan Ave. store, they had several last week.
i have checked these stores 3x since release. i can confirm they have nothing and never had anything. hopefully will sell it soon.
The Apple Store in Lake Grove, New York had none. I actually had them check physically for stock.
Went by the Apple Store on King Street in Charleston today. They didn't get any earlier today 
The Mainplace store in Naperville will get a freight shipment tomorrow (11/17). Hoping for a keyboard...got the pencil from Oakbrook.
I tried calling stores that were like 100 miles away where the population is a bit reduced. No luck - one Apple rep asked for my contact number and he's suppose to notify me if one of the stores has it in stock but I don't have much hope out for that. I'll try again on Wednesday
I was lucky. When I did my order for my Ipad Pro 128 Silver WIFI/LTE I was able to select pick up in store launch day in Cherry Hill NJ. I ordered about 3:24am EST through the Apple Store APP. I was able to get 1 pencil and the Keyboard for pick up scheduled that day also but they didn't confirm the email for shipment so I got it the next day pick up in store. It got a bit ugly with those of us who were supposed to pick the pencil and Keyboard up launch day as Apple offered stock in store pick up they didn't actually ship. I got them at the Delaware Apple Store but should have bought two pencils at that time (I'm grateful!!). The Delaware store is the only one that has had them in but it was all for "pre" order people.

Nothing anywhere in Utah that I know of. No Apple Store last I checked, no Simply Mac, no Best Buy. I may just order it online and hope it ships before Christmas. *Awww maaaaan.

It's definitely hit or miss when calling the store to check stock. Depends upon the rep that you get. I was told by the rep to order online.
I decided to go to the store to see if they had received the iPad Pro I wanted. Luckily enough three pencils had arrived. I doubt when I called the rep actually checked the stock like the rep on the floor did.

Yeah the real way to do this unfortunately is to walk in and check. Even if you call to verify they wont always hold it for you. The shipments seem to be so small its hard. 5 per box is what I was told.
Apple store Soho (NY) I saw at least 20... I got one!!
