Just got mine at boylston, was so excited i forgot to ask how many they had

If it makes you feel better you're missing out on some early adopter issues with 3rd party software and their implementations of the predictive touch API which is causing pressure sensitivity errors (erroneous thick start of stroke).

I'd say it's quite impressive, but the software is in emergency catch up mode right now if you venture outside Notes. A different example is that Sketchbook has implemented pressure sensitivity, but has no way to disable all the old speed-based brush dynamics for touch painting, which makes it mostly unusable.

Yeah, it seems Artrage isn't quite there yet, either.

FLORIDA residents. Adventura supposedly had them in stock according to the Wellington store employee's inventory check as of 11:15AM. I won't be able to make it down there for a few hours. If someone can grab one it would be appreciated!

Well, I was finally able to pick one up! :)

No thanks to the folks at the local Apple Store (OKC), whom should be hired for anyone's disinformation campaign. I actually bought mine off of a preacher that pre-ordered, received it yesterday and decided that he wasn't really into drawing.

All I can say is, "Wow!". Very much worth the hype and the OCD it has seemingly brought out in all of us. Smooth as silk and the technical folks are going to fall madly in love with it! = )

Soooo stupid, the store at City Creek SLC UT has some, so I ask if just one can be on hold since online doesn't allow store pick up... But still he advises me to order online and select store pick-up, he says otherwise coming to the store is the only way. I'm not about to drive 40+ miles and take the chance they are gone when I arrive. This is ridiculous, is there anyone at Apple who gives a crap about their customers?

None at the Christiana Mall store in Newark, DE either. Just called. None came with their morning shipment.

Checked with Menlo park mall in Edison. Also not there. I stop my search for now. Don't get it. Why is it so hard to produce this pen??!

Just checked the Walnut St. store in Philly. They said they had some on Tuesday (11/17/2015) but were currently out. (Noon, 11/19/2015.) Anyone know of availability in the Philadelphia area?

Any at Eton, Ohio or Summit Mall in Akron? I was there Yesterday and couldn't find any. But they told me they've gotten some Smart Keyboards in earlier this week.

You saved me a trip but actually it may just be hit or miss. Who knows, two hours from now stores that do not have them may get a shipment later today and actually open the boxes. :)

Weird. They've been super nice to me every time I stop in. Yesterday the dude checked his little hand held POS terminal and didn't see any pencils or keyboards and then said "well let me go check the back just to make sure we didn't just get something in that didn't get scanned in" and came back out 5 minutes later with nothing. At least he tried.

The woman the day before (Tues) said that they had gotten in a few in the morning but they had obviously been sold by the time I got there. Asked if I checked the Galleria first and I said no, then said "oh well let's check to see if they have it" and walked over to an iMac and navigated to Apple.com...

A fraction of that would have made me happy. I made my own shelf check first, then asked an employee who kind of scoffed at me and yelled at another employee on the other side of the store. That guy laughed and walked away shaking his head in an exaggerated manner.

It was my first visit to the store about a pencil, so it's not like I'm some annoying customer stalking them.. which is how they acted.

Stopped by Fifth Ave and GC about an hour ago. No Pencils or Keyboards at that time.

Phoenix, AZ

Was told all stores out of stock except Arrowhead which as 'Limited Availability'.

Dayton just said they have a decent amount in stock but will not hold them. I'm going now to get one.

I was told by an employee over the phone, "try Best Buy some one said they had some," (I checked, they don't). WTHeck Apple your employees used to be so polite, what happened? I wish Tim Cook and Co weren't asleep at the wheel for all this.

They are probably getting tired of getting dozens of calls a day.

Wow that is awful. I guess I got lucky. Of course there are about 40 employees in the store so I most definitely got a more approachable individual.

Sorry to hear that :(

Dayton has some but they aren't on the shelf you have to ask an associate for one because they have a tendency to "walk"
