Scalping is parasitic.
Not surprising, just disappointing.
Sure is. I finally found two pencils which I am actually keeping for myself and my wife. I really hope you guys get one soon and hope these scalpers get stuck with a bunch of pencils.

I Bought two pencils at the Georgetown, Washington D.C. Apple store and unlike others, they are actually for myself and my wife. Hurry up there guys, I did them bring a few out.
If it makes you feel better you're missing out on some early adopter issues with 3rd party software and their implementations of the predictive touch API which is causing pressure sensitivity errors (erroneous thick start of stroke).
I'd say it's quite impressive, but the software is in emergency catch up mode right now if you venture outside Notes. A different example is that Sketchbook has implemented pressure sensitivity, but has no way to disable all the old speed-based brush dynamics for touch painting, which makes it mostly unusable.
Any Smart Keyboards?
Yeah, it seems Artrage isn't quite there yet, either.
None at the Christiana Mall store in Newark, DE either. Just called. None came with their morning shipment.
Checked with Menlo park mall in Edison. Also not there. I stop my search for now. Don't get it. Why is it so hard to produce this pen??!
Weird. They've been super nice to me every time I stop in. Yesterday the dude checked his little hand held POS terminal and didn't see any pencils or keyboards and then said "well let me go check the back just to make sure we didn't just get something in that didn't get scanned in" and came back out 5 minutes later with nothing. At least he tried.
The woman the day before (Tues) said that they had gotten in a few in the morning but they had obviously been sold by the time I got there. Asked if I checked the Galleria first and I said no, then said "oh well let's check to see if they have it" and walked over to an iMac and navigated to Apple.com...![]()
They are probably getting tired of getting dozens of calls a day.I was told by an employee over the phone, "try Best Buy some one said they had some," (I checked, they don't). WTHeck Apple your employees used to be so polite, what happened? I wish Tim Cook and Co weren't asleep at the wheel for all this.
K.
Saw a news report yesterday that said the manufacture is have issues. it also said the iPad Pro display manufacture is having issues too but it is not hurt supply as bad as the PencilChecked with Menlo park mall in Edison. Also not there. I stop my search for now. Don't get it. Why is it so hard to produce this pen??!
Wow that is awful. I guess I got lucky. Of course there are about 40 employees in the store so I most definitely got a more approachable individual.A fraction of that would have made me happy. I made my own shelf check first, then asked an employee who kind of scoffed at me and yelled at another employee on the other side of the store. That guy laughed and walked away shaking his head in an exaggerated manner.
It was my first visit to the store about a pencil, so it's not like I'm some annoying customer stalking them.. which is how they acted.
