I am not an artist. But my 14 year old daughter is. Here is what she did with my iPad Pro and an Apple Pencil with no prompting or practice...

Here's a quick doodle using Procreate.

I also did a short Periscope this morning (will expire in 24 hours:

And recorded an initial try last night using Twitch and uploaded to youTube (forget to enable mic, so audio kicks in around 12:00 mark:

Overall truly digging the Pencil. I tend to have a light touch on the tablet, and would like a way to adjust the pressure curve like I can on the Wacom tablet settings under OS X.

Procreate + iPad Pro + Pencil stylus = AWESOME!

What glove is that? Also what's the first app you use- the one with the ruler?

Has anyone noticed any LCD ripple when using the pencil? I think I naturally apply too much pressure when using it! I always had to get thick lead so it wouldn't break when I wrote

I want to learn to draw so badly. I can manage stick figures at this point. In awe of what you guys have done with the new IPP. Can't wait to get mine!

Contrary to popular belief, drawing is a very learnable skill just like learning how to sew or play piano. It's mostly learning the muscle memory and how to translate what your eye sees to the page.

I'm gonna go all old school here and recommend taking a beginning drawing class at your local community college. You will be learning on analog paper with messy things like charcoal, etc, but it is a great way to learn the basics that you can then take to your iPad Pro.

As long as the paper is thin, you can place it on the screen and trace over the picture on it. Till I learn, that is what I will be doing.

Use the pencil now more than my finger to choose a website linked, scroll, etc.

Can't wait to get my pencil on Monday! Make my first Anime draw ever now with my fingers and Procreate. Was a bit tricky but it's ok.
Drawing with the Pencil will be awesome :)

Edit:
Little improvements. I will finish it when I get my pencil.
