What are the best drawing apps for iPad Pro?

I think it's totally up to you and your style. Personally I like Procreate, but if I want to do more Adobe Illustrator ish drawing, I will use another App, like Graphic or iDraw.
Some people here also like to draw on Adobe Draw, which something myself didn't feel very comfortable to draw with.
It's the key that you find your own comfortable App to draw what you want and how you want to draw.

"K" is for Krysti

Please take a moment and watch "K" is for Krysti, my first ever build video. "K" is for Krysti was created using Procreate and Apple Pencil on the 12.9 iPad Pro. The video was created using iMovie on the iPad Pro and Corel VideoStudio on the PC.

Working on "K" is for Krysti was like wrestling a bear. Everything that could go wrong went wrong throughout the video creation process. Fortunately, my Kung Fu was strong and I tamed the wild beast.

Thank you to Kontekst for making the track Buddha available to artists like myself. Please take a moment and browse his links listed below. Thanks Kontekst!

A special thanks goes out to my crew, Krysti Manalo and Angelo Manalo. Without you guys by my side this video wouldn't have been possible. Thanks for putting up with my crazy, artist personality.

I hope you enjoy it!

I design Parody/Horror t-shirts and sell them, been using mostly Illustrator for it but I'm a pretty decent comic artist, I think I'm going to see what they offer in March as far as Pro's go and hand draw my stuff from now on. You guys inspire me!

Hey guys, seeing great work still on here. I had a couple surgeries a few months ago on my Non-drawing arm, and since then I have had a hard time having the motivation to draw. I started another dog portrait for a girl from my high school, but honestly just in a slump. I've got it partly started, maybe 30% Done, but just can't seem to get the time or motivation lately. I've been drawing consistently since I bought my Galaxy Note 10.1 back in 2012 and love my Ipad Pro, but can't seem to pick it up. Any of you other artists go through a phase or slump like that?

I strongly believe every artist experience those moment, you feel like you don't have anything to draw and feel fear like if we never be able to draw anything again. I'm very much sure, you're not alone here.

Myself, I also create music. Either classical or electric/dance music is my kind. So when I can't draw and feel empty, I sometimes just don't draw but create music.
Another way, I change medium. Leave iPad, draw with my hands on actual paper, pencils or water colors or pastels are my medium for it. If I still want to draw on iPad, I change App. Not on Procreate, but on iDraw or Graphic, and try different style more like using Adobe illustrator on laptop.
Or, I change subject to draw. I'm always fine with drawing realistic cats and cats eyes. If I can't draw anything original, I just pick one of cats pictures and draw it as much as real.
Also I go museums and galleries.

I can know when I want to draw. Some colors and images start to flushing in my head, I start feeling special urge like, "I gotta let this out". But sometimes I don't have those for days or weeks, often it's when I'm emotionally too tired or drained, or feeling down, or under high stress.

When nothing come out, instead of pushing yourself to draw something, give yourself little time off. Watch some movies you like, or read books you like, eat something you want to, treat yourself. Listen favorite music, go museums and concerts, or even just go in nature. Watch beautiful photographs, or take ones by yourself.

You will be able to draw again, and when that time come, you will feel it and you will know.
Hope I was able to give you some idea.

Yes, thanks for the advice. I'm going through a little rut right now, just not with drawing. So i understand what you are saying. I just don't want it to last too much longer. Thanks fairycatinpink. :)

I think I can relate. I got my iPad Pro when I was stuck in a chair for 3 months following ankle surgery as a way to fend off cabin fever and get back into drawing. It definitely helped while I was immobilized, but I've done less since returning to weight bearing and having to deal with getting back on life and physiotherapy. Hoping to get back into it again, but I also know how much recovering from surgery/injuries can take out of a person; I'm over a year into my recovery and its still a battle (but I'm fighting the good fight!)

Good luck to you, and take things at the pace you need!

Been crazy busy with work lately so not much illustration time, I have however been following along with the 36 days of type instagram thing (which I'm behind on ) and used Procreate to draw the letters. Strictly no more than 20/30 mins to come up with a letterform each day so there are a few duds in there but it's quite nice to see them all together.
