Yay! Good to see more. Its weird how this thread seems to eb and flow, sometimes lots of posters, other times not much activity at all.

I've been working on the "draw a pic every day!" thing so here are the last few. Drop bear (lol) , cartoony mermaid, an OC from my comic wearing a really impractical corset, and a not so cartoony, slighty more evil looking mermaid with tentacles.

Love seeing the variety of styles from folks. Very impressive. I especially like your third and fourth drawings. Lots of texture and the use of color is great. I love this thread.

^ very happy with this...the penultimate stinger from The Living Dead at the Manchester Morgue.

I need to do more in color, having so much fun with that and I now see how much it helps with adding dimension and um realism.

Might seem a bit of a weird one, but does anyone know of any apps available that will teach you to draw, or how to improve?

Interactive Sketchbook claims to help you learn (tracing photo reference etc.), but I rarely used it. I prefer to try drawing freehand rather than tracing.

Perhaps others will mention more. I have been using YouTube videos for help with drawing faces, although I have found that paying attention to the great work posted here, and playing around with brushes in Procreate have helped a lot. Also using color has been huge for me as it helps bring a bit more realism to my work.
