Hi PBG4 Dude, sorry for the delay. Here is a YouTube link to the time lapse of the Old Man Procreate drawing. I’ve had a look at the forum rules and I don’t think this violates anything. Apologies if it does.

I used a source photo on a one layer for guide lines and then used split screen mode with the photograph showing in Photos on one side for reference and Procreate on the other.

You can see me switching the layers on and off, for example, the wrinkles were on one layer and the hair on another.

Thanks for watching everyone.

All I can say is - holy wow!!!! Incredible. I would have bet it was a photo originally.

Thanks for the kind words Alliforwers, it was a fun project while it lasted.

kazmac, you’re very welcome. I never thought it would help anyone, but if it helps one person then I’m very pleased. I enjoyed your sketch very much btw.

I like the music too! This was very helpful, I bookmarked it. I hope you continue to post here.
Thanks again for sharing that.

Yes she is! Outstanding work!
Thanks! and she did those two when she was 12, I may post some of her newer, even better work in this thread in the future. She uses my old 1st gen 12.9 and, even though she has Procreate and Affinity Photo, actually prefers an odd app....MediBang...but the app and the iPad are only a tools and the real skill is the artist! And all art is straight out of her inner sight/mind--no source material whatsoever!

My mind
I'm on vacation through next Wednesday. When I get back to work, I'll share some tattoo designs I've made using an iPad Pro. I even have a few videos showing the entire process.

I always enjoy seeing other people's work no matter what kind of drawings they are. Thanks for sharing all your drawings here. Good stuff!

How do you get that smoothness with the pencil strokes? What brushes are you using?
Don’t rightly know. It wasn’t a straightforward process, but some sketching and doodling that turned into something. Some airbrush, some niko rull, a lot of different pencil strokes layered on top of each other. Like hatching, cross hatching, drawing with the side of the pencil etc.

You can try my pencil brushes if you like. They’re old and may need some tweaking to suit you.

I can't say that I do. I didn't even know that hack existed. Interesting.

So how do you get the Apple Pencil to work on iPhone? Is the phone jailbroken or am I missing something?
Also do you have full pressure/tilt sensitivity when using the Pencil on iPhone?

Just curious! Thanks
