#3. Apple will be releasing a exclusive limited number of 10 Year Anniversary iPhone Pros with Luxury packaging, and which can only be purchased in store by showing you have an Original iPhone which is why the market has dried up and it's impossible to purchase an original iPhone.
WHAT?!

I just purchased a mint Space Gray 128 GB 2 week old 6s Plus from Swappa with case and screen protector for $660. Needless to say I won't be upgrading to the 7 Plus. I got a killer deal from a reputable seller looking to get rid of the phone to make room for his Note 7.

#1. Problem is that you can't show off the iPhone 7 it looks exactly like the 6s unless your up close.

#2. Too many people know the iPhone Pro with OLED display made by Samsung will be here in 13 months or so

Even though it's over a year away, this is a known fact, you can carve it in stone right now it's so true.

How's this relevant to the topic?! Please don't dilute the thread. If you have a separate problem, create a new topic.

Thanks.

I wasn't sure what to do (keep the 6 or get the 7) but my hand was forced and I needed to buy a phone so I picked up a 6S. While I'm not a fan of losing the headphone jack, I still have a MBP, iPad, and an AUX in the car that still use the 3.5mm. While I'm sure we'll do away with the jack in the future, I decided I'd rather have it for at least another year and wait for the 10th anniversary iPhone.

As of right now, of course not. You live without an iPhone for a month (buy a cheap android, buy a used iPhone, or borrow something from a friend if your smartphone is broken). But no you don't buy the old tech one month before release. Heck you don't buy old stuff two or three months before release of the new stuff. Come up with another solution.

I'd say wait for the iPhone 7. I'll be selling my 6s as soon as the 7 comes out because it looks like it will get a huge camera upgrade from the leaks which I'm super hyped about!

At this point, anyone on the fence should wait.

At the very least, if the 7 turns out to be a minor internal upgrade (in addition to the minor external change) then one can get a 6s for cheaper in a few weeks!

6s will still have some of the larger feature updates (i.e. 3D touch), it is still a very, very powerful device on iOS (the A9 is a mobile beast, even one year later), and the camera is still one of the all around best cameras in a phone to this date.

Buy the 6S.

It's well sorted out, as bug free as any iPhone, plus their will be discounts when iPhone 7 is released.

History proves that iPhone 7 is likely to have bugs and annoyances like most new Apple models do.

"Bugs" are software issues. Doesn't depend on the versions of iPhones. Any bugs found on any device is fixable with software update.

I dislike how forum answers are often relying on software updates for issues that are sometimes limited by hardware. You can utilise, but never increase performance through code. If it lags, the last thing a new version number will do is to advance old hardware.

As maxsix said

If it's the same form factor and the camera is a little bit better, the 6S may be a great deal. If it isn't a S update, a CPU bump is seldom featured. My eyes are on the new MacBook Pro his year, and not the phone, as peak sales may been reached in 2015.

Lag is not a bug though.

The buggy crash prone iPhone 6 Plus suffered from a paltry 1GB memory. That "bug" cost owners dearly.
You have no idea what a "bug" is and iPhone 6 Plus work like a champ on iOS 9. I have no idea what crash you're talking about.

I used a 6S last week (my phones are both 6) and was actually shocked by how much more responsive the SOC and gen 2 Touch ID sensor were. I hadn't expected to notice any changes. I don't think it makes sense to buy a 6S now without knowing what the 7 will bring, but I'm sure I'd be very happy with a 6S if I needed replacements for my two year old 6 iPhones.

Absolutely untrue. There have been a number of hardware problems with early versions of the last several iPhone models. These had nothing to do with firmware or apps and were not fixable short of hardware replacement.
