I heard it will have no display, but will communicate via WiFi 2 directly with your brain. The only thing holding up its release is FCC clearance.

Buy it now, or later?

Well I just got the iphone 4 and now i'm feeling the want for an ipad. The only problem is that I don't know if I should wait for the 2nd gen. or go ahead a get it.

What are your thoughts

Wait or buy it, no wait, or buy it" Honestly just flip a coin, heads= buy it tails wait for 2nd gen

I think you should wait till the 5th generation and ask again.

See you then.

Save yourself some cash and just hold your iPhone closer to your face.

+1 :D
But yeah, there's this thing called search, it tends to answer this question 8 million times a day.

Just freaking buy the damn thing now.

Oh, and stop wasting our time by making the same threads over and over, you're just here to piss us off.

Yeah looks like everyone has been over this question a hundreds times now - the bottom line is that there is no answer, its up to you. Since no-one can tell you what the specs of the new one will even be, and you haven't defined your requirements in your post, I'm not quite sure what you are expecting people to say?

Personally, I say buy it. Just buy the damn thing and be done with it, you won't regret it because it is awesome.

Right now i currently own an iphone 4, and an iMac. My next thing i want to purchase is an ipad. Should i wait for the second generation or just go ahead and buy it? when is the expected release date?

thanks

You should just go shoot urself.

I have an iPod, iPod Touch, iPhone 3GS and also an iPad. I also have a Macbook Pro. iPad fits nicely in between an iPhone Touch and the MBP.

I wrote this article "Can iPad replace yr traditional Pen and Paper?" and after couple of months I wrote another one "iPad - After more than 100 days".

The original intention has not been fully satisfied. I was thinking the iPad can be used to replace the pen and paper at my office, but unfortunately, it doesn't.
