I wanted a purple iPhone cos I was bored with black, grey, dark blue etc. I did think about the purple iMac to match, but saw that the iPhone didn't work so well against the blue of the walls, so went for yellow instead. I recently got a 'purple' iPad Air, but was dissapointed because it's actually a very pale lilac and nothing like the iPhone which is distinctly mauve at least.

I also purchased the cover which has a built in magnet. otherwise you have to use the supplied magnet and attach it to the back of you iPad
