I see, but I'd bet that the "digging and chewing" that's been described wouldn't happen with this one, as the fitting looks very smooth... I could see it possibly happening with the steel link band though.

I guess it depends on what that fitting looks like where it actually meets the watch.

38mm Apple Watch w/ white sport band

Think this is a good fit, or is it small?

Here's a photo. It is the same "fitting" as the aluminium, I would check if I were you before getting any others.

Apple employees told me if you have Sport watch, since aluminum casing, the other premium bands will eat away at aluminum grove and eventually cause none of the straps to work. I'd investigate before spending more money…

Eat away? By just sitting there or after switching bands multiple times? And what about the Leather Loop, how does the part connecting to the Watch look?

You almost cannot tell how it is connected, it is flushed against the watch it is the same mechanism as the sport watch but instead of beign the "rubber" attached to the watch it is another stainless steel "link" that fixes to the watch and then the leather strap loops around It.

what alimium sport watch will ship fastest?

what colour?
what size?

please help asap

im in the uk

As far as I've read, the one with the blue band is shipping faster.

So what you see on the Classic Buckle is exactly the same you see on the Leather Loop?

Here's mine. 38mm stainless steel with black sport band. Even though it's a 38mm, it still looks huge on my wrist because I have a ridiculous small and skinny arm :D I'm a guy btw

What is the circumference of your wrist?

----------

Keep 38 or should I exchange for 42?
Can I exchange within 14 days if I have set it up and worn it?

If that were my wrist, I'd go with the 42. BUT if you like how it fits and looks you should keep it.

----------

Here's mine. Not sure what to do. I love it so far but it's a 38mm and some people are saying its small. Does it look too small for my arm? I'm not opposed to getting the 42 but I feel like it's just right.

I looks too small to me BUT it's your money :D

scratch

hi does anyone else watch when wearing on right wrist see a small line where the screen joins the body down to bottom left

please advise it came like this

scratch or normal

Looking Good!

Totally love it so far, don't miss a thing about my pebble

Even though I got in the Apple Store as soon as it allowed me to get in (3 minutes past the launch hour) ; I ended up with a May delivery. After seeing your picture, I'm glad I'm getting the Space Gray with black band. Yours looks fabulous! So, I know mine will be worth waiting for.

They'll fit - but because aluminum is softer than SS (which those ends are made of on the leather band), it will eventually "enlarge" the grooves on the sport. They'll definitely fit but will ruin the casing over time so that in the future, no band will be a perfect fit. Does that make sense?

I also believe that the leather loop is made of SS closures. They didn't say "don't do it" but they strongly advised against it just for the sake of ruining the aluminum casing, which makes perfect sense. I love this discussion and check it daily! Makes me that much more excited for the 14th....

I thought it looked like the leather loop had leather going directly into the channel and would work with the sport watch?

I thought so too. Well, they do work, the question is, will it destroy the aluminium or the clasp mechanism?

That's really sad, I was looking forward to order a Black Leather Link with my Sports Space Gray...

Can't imagine that leather would harm aluminum. The leather loop has no metal, so I would think you would be safe.

Well, folks in previous posts said it has metal, as far as I understood. It has it, it's just "hidden" when attached to the Watch, I guess
