If you own the Apple Watch Sport you don't have to buy a dock accessory, just have to make use of the case that came with it and you just need some diy ability.

That's exactly what I was intending to do!

They'll fit - but because aluminum is softer than SS (which those ends are made of on the leather band), it will eventually "enlarge" the grooves on the sport. They'll definitely fit but will ruin the casing over time so that in the future, no band will be a perfect fit. Does that make sense?

I also believe that the leather loop is made of SS closures. They didn't say "don't do it" but they strongly advised against it just for the sake of ruining the aluminum casing, which makes perfect sense. I love this discussion and check it daily! Makes me that much more excited for the 14th....

I'll take the risk. I really don't see this being an issue. And lets be honest. It really only has to last 1 - 1.5 yrs at the most before moving on to the Apple Watch 2.

Everyone's watches look beautiful! I'm so glad apple has made something more personal, so that people can alter things to their own taste and personality! Everyone is different. I'm really hoping that in the future they make the modern buckle for the 42mm, which I'll be receiving tomorrow! I love the modern buckle but wanted the bigger watch.

Here it is. Yes. It is really 24k Gold Plated. And it's beautiful!
It works as it should.

Great pictures everybody! I wonder if someone has the sports model with another band than the fluoroelastomer and could be kind to provide some photos? I am thinking of the sports model myself but I would like to have for example the classic buckle on some occasions and the flouroelastomer band when working out or during normal days.

If you have it, please show your sports model with other bands than the flouroelastomer!

It's awesome!

Utility blade or Swiss Army knife, hard plastic you have to force it slow and hard.

Looks great!- but your bottom band is on inside out (you can see the "Size" marking)...

I noticed that eventually. I was trying to switch the sizes when me and the GF were opening it. And I kept having trouble getting the bands back in while it was syncing (wasn't trying to stop the sync). Little while later I noticed the band wasn't clicked in correctly. Fixeeddd. Thanks...

Cancelled my 38mm SG Black band and ordered 42mm...if they would just hurry up and get everyone else's order out so I can have mine.

GF is being nice and letting me wear hers for a bit though

Now that is where I have been waiting for. Was wondering about how it actually looks like! Could you please come up with some pictures of where you wear it?

I'm really considering getting the white or blue Apple Watch Sport (depending on which will be delivered earlier once I can order here in the Netherlands), and then of course I want to combine it with the Black Sport Band.

Anyway, the combination looks great already!
